Time to sit back and watch a load of people to think that path tracing benchmarks for a given software tool using in the VFX industry somehow apply to all aspects of computing.
When I was benchmarking my 3080 Ti, I had GPU-Z opened alnong side the test. It was reading that the VRAM was maxing out at about 12gb. I was wondering if that is normal and was thinking that is causing my GPU to not reach max performance because it was also only reaching a max 90% utilization and I figured that is because of the VRAM being maxed.
Hi @Kephren, do you know what "identical system" means? Does it compare to other people's systems uploaded results, or is it just your own previous benchmark runs?
I dont know if reintroduction back GPU benchmark as "innovation" but I guess it's nice to see it again. I remember that being a thing back then with the car graphical stress test.
is that what it does? One photo and it runs the test for the GPU for 10 minutes and that's all. Couldn't they have done it for 2 or 3 minutes? I end up stopping it after 2 minutes and don't know what will happen after the full 10 minutes. So it seems 3DMark is much more comprehensive, have several tests that actually rendered in game graphics
i have a 2080ti and two 3060's in my system, and this cine2024 just gives me a black screen and then crashes... no multi gpu support? It see's the cards fine.
@@Alex2K The 6900xt gets a score within 2k of the 3080, its direct competitor, which is very close. unfortunately r24 is buggy with radeon, hence why my score jumps between 12k and 4k.
@@slickframes well as I said earlier, in productivity everything is optimize to use CUDA cores and AMD/ATI solution is not currently on par. If I didn't need my PC for 3D Rendering and Video/Photo Editing I would have gone with 7900XTX :)
Hi, when I start the test the cpu immediately throttling, the fans are set up to max and the temperature hits 100C. The test runs for 10 minutes and the cpu clock speed is 3GHz(the cpu max frequency is 5GHz). Also Intel XTU shows power limit throttling, the cpu is idle, and power limit and current/edp throttling while gaming. Do you think these problems can be fixed with replacing the motherboard, the laptop is under warranty. Thanks!
My CPU has 6 cores but it looks like cinebench 2024 only uses 2 of them
Same
Many games also only use a few cores at a time. If you're happy with your performance I wouldn't worry about it.
Surprised not to find a link to the download of Cinebench from the description!
It was a video with a pre release of the program. It's the windows store now
I tried using Cinebench 2024 to benchmark GPU but the Cinebench itself crashes while it is still preparing the project. Any ideas?

Lets do it😂

which one should i download the cinebench 2023 x86_64 or arm64?
are you on windows?
for windows pc, intel or amd cpu choose x86_64

my screen keeps flashing white on this? why??

my 6900xt only scores 4348, anyone know why? This seems extremely low when a 2070 scores almost double
No cuda cores bad rendering performance…
I am getting like 25k with my 4080super

Where can i get it?
Thank you، I have a question when I started testing multi-core CPU in Cinebench، my laptop RAM (16g) was filled up very quickly، is this normal?
my 4090 almost finished the test before the fans even turned on LOL
Damn fast. 😮
no meu a GPU esta desabilitada, porque?
Whenever i start multi cpu program freezing. Only it works single core so. What it could be you think bud? Meg z790 ace 13900k
well r24 locks up on my AMD. r9 7950x / rx 7900 GRE. running the GPU run at about 06:06 in on pass 2. R23 works just fine.
anyone know why my 4090 is crashing
Looks very nice.
my 1660 super got 3119 points is that good or bad?
Sorry for the late reply but that's good for a 1660 super
for me on i9 13900k 1888 multi core points, on RTX 4090 35050 points, I will add that the processor is fixed at 5 GHz instead of 5.8 GHz by default
Too bad my CPU still gen 3 or Ivy Bridge: Core I5 3470.
Man you gotta optimize your GPU my 4090 scores a 38,000

Bro has my setup wtf😂
GTX 1080Ti 21664
My 3090 gets 18129
I was here to see cpu scores in cinebench 2024 😑 disappointed
