Tekking the reason for the suits were because the poison of Hanzo.
Not only that, at the time rain village was a warzone and poison in general is a popular ninja tool.

XD The Hidden Leaf is the least peaceful village ever. All their leaders created taboo ultimate jutsu that never should have existed, and they did it back to back. The 2nd Hokage wasn't playing no damn peace games.

I think they were wearing those "spacesuits" because the war made the environment basically toxic. Especially with Hanzo terrorizing the general area where they lived.
Endless rain and giant amounts of poison and smoke in the air, need to have your ppe.
yae I think I remember them saying in the anime that they used some sort of jutsu in the war that left some sort of toxic fallout, so they wore those mask to protect themselves from it.
What if their government forced them to wear the spacesuits so the government can pull their evil masterplan?
Yeah despite Hanzo's nickname being The Salamander, he was way more on poison and shit than anything else. The suits likely were to help deal with if Hanzo came through and used his poisons.

The thing I love about Nagato and Pain that I feel many people overlook is that I don't believe Nagato was ever 100% certain on his philosophy. When he pins Naruto to the ground and gives his famous speech, I love how he drops his whole god motif as he knows that he and Naruto were both Jiraya's pupils and speaks to him as a man about his ideals and plans. The thing that hit me so hard about that speech is that after explaining that he is truly striving for peace and believes in what his plan is doing, he asks Naruto for his answer to Jiraya's problem showing signs that he was already open to changing a different perspective if a viable option was open to him. Nagato's solution was by no means a perfect one, and he knew it, but he was already set on the path and chose to believe in it, likely not possessing anything else to hold on to in his life, but at the end o the day he was always in search of an answer for peace.
Imagine Jijara would have taken them with him back to Konoha, and train there even more.

Every one in naruto is an expert surgeon they rip eyes out transplant them every witch way without any concern almost instantly.
Kishimoto thought our eyes have no crazy nerves and blood vessels attached to them. They are basically plug and plays in the narutoverse.

In the end Nagato was more of a tragic character than anything else, his back story really made me feel bad for him

Yep. Boruto's world is considerably way more peaceful than Naruto's.
This is actually one of the reasons why newer generations of ninjas are considered weaker. They don't have much experience with life-or-death battles. Not saying there aren't any evil people or problems at all though.
You can still find some criminals here and there. And there are some that probably would like for war to break out again.

@@Azure70 just the tone of the series and the way they portray them in battle feels like they’re downplaying them to eventually build boruto up. If anything they should be significantly stronger now then during the war cuz they’re just about in their physical prime when they were only teenagers back then
And yet the newer generation is already capable of using high-level jutsu that their parents either nearly died to learn, or were older at their time of learning those jutsu. Who know peaceful times gave birth to child paragons lol.
Frankly the whole pain arc was the most interesting arc and the one arc that got me invested in Naruto. Those backstories, the tragedy of it all, konoha getting destroyed, etc. It just is the only part of naruto who truly got me hooked. I don't know why, I will never understand why, this whole thing has something that the rest of Naruto doesn't have. I will always hold this whole arc in high regards.
It’s probably because this arc still felt like they were ninjas. Once u pass this arc they start blowing up mountains and shit casually and start speed blitzing each other lol. They ending feels more like dragon ball z then a naruto show about ninjutsu
Also this arc had stakes. You were at the edge of the seat especially after Kakashi was killed it was personal. But yeah once Rinne Tensei bs come along all went downhill.

A prophecy not meant for him. It broke him knowing it was never about him. Before he dies he realized he is there to help the One. When he was revived he rolf the One his reponsibilities and what he needs to do. Nagato is a real Ninja.
About world in Boruto. Yes, it is basically "our" world in term of peace (with little bit of shounen elements), Boruto even had school trip to Mist village.
but funny enough Rain village is in much worse state than during Nagato/Pain era.

I like how your videos are really simple, but really entertaining because you know/love the source material and rant in an fun way.
As i understood it there was never a time limit on rinne revival. Just a limit on how many Nagato could bring back with the chakra/life force he had left.
But that doesn't exclude the option that both factors might matter. like time passed is just an increase in cost. So it's like 5 people that died within the last hour or 1 person that died last week or 2 that died yesterday.

Nagato loved Konan in the same as he did Yahiko, as family. The all essentially became like family to one another. Yahiko to Nagato was his hero and elder brother like figure, hence why having been the one to kill him was even worse for him and what drove him off the deep end.

I know that I say it late and that my English sucks, but I'm from Poland and I just saw your material recently. As a translator writes by Google. Nagato's method of achieving world peace is based on the dropping of two atomic bombs on Japan and the Cold War. He wanted to make each nation have an "atomic bomb" which was planned by him super Jutsu from the power of the Tailed Beasts. Everyone would have this atomic bomb and after a few blasts of them people would stop fighting because they would risk destroying the world completely, and wars are mostly fought to get something. Generally, this plan could work on a certain scale, as we see in our world, but it would not bring eternal peace to all places in the world, unless we assume that this "atomic bomb" will be in the possession of every living person. And there is also the fact that this method of peace has some risk because there is a possibility that the whole world would be destroyed. Ironically, I say that Nagato was right from the point of view of the world, because after all the pain from the war with Madara and Kagaja in Boruto there aren't much conflicts on a large scale because the Ninjas are now so powerful that they basically destroy the world and you don't want to do it, it's the only cio they want to start a war, there may be beings above the world, ie aliens.

I think Kishi ended up changeing the origins of the rinnegan. There’s no way nagato just unlocked the rinnegan and and no one ever knew he had it even as a kid. The second half of shippuden was poorly written imo it probably was rushed or influenced outside of kishi
@@marcotha1st866 While you mention the rinnegan: Do you know why Konan didn't just squash/destroy Nagato's eyes when she knew Tobi would come for Nagato (even if she wouldn't have known for what)? I mean as a ninja you should take every outcome into consideration. And Konan was strategically well prepared (for the most part). It was something I never fully understood.

The cycle of pain speech before their final fight was the moment in the campaign when the player rolls a nat1 on diplomacy, followed by the big bad rolling a 19.
The speech at the tree was the GM giving the players another shot because the campaign has gone irreparably south.
Nagato was even screwed of a happy afterlife, he got sealed by itachi's Susanoo Sword of Totsuka.
Yeah it's probably best not to think about that,I just assumd that he properly died after the whole ordeal.
Y'know I never really thought about it before but why didn't Jiraiya just take them back to Konohagakure? Like I get that they were from Amegakure, but it's not like they had any real connection to the place anymore. It's possible he was originally worried that they could be spies for Amegakure which is why he decided to stay with them originally. Though after spending three whole years with them those concerns would have been quelled. Also Jiraiya was the former student of the current Hokage, was one of the Sannin, was about to be offered the job of Hokage himself, and was also the former teacher of the next candidate for Hokage. So I think it's safe to say that he had some influence in getting the village to accept the kids. However if there is one thing that makes it make no sense it's the fact that he thought Nagato was the child of prophecy. Now I don't know about you all, but if I met the kid I thought was gonna save the world I'd probably do a bit more than just make sure he had basic training.
Maybe Jiraiya wanted them to change the world starting from Amegakure.
Still, I'm pretty sure if Jiraiya were to bring them to Konoha, he wouldn't have that many problems with it.
Alternatively why didn't he took them with him?

Jiraiya definitely met the orphans after the prophecy. He ended up in Myobokuzan when he was pretty young.
Im actually super happy that Tekking is doing a series on the Akatsuki. 🙏🙏🙏❤ they're some of my favorite villains in Naruto.

Obito low-key knew that Madara was using him. And Nagato knew that Obito was bad knews. In both situations, it seemed more like... they tried to use the ones that were using them (unsuccessfully).
Nagito was a h protagonist that never got any as his buddies got it on in the tent.
The suits are for the poison as SANZO HAS A GAINT POISON SUMMON IN THE RAIN VILLAGE THAT USES POISON
Maybe the helmets are gas masks? It would make sense since Hanzo is widely known for use of large scale poison gas attacks along with prominent groups from other villages like the Leaf Village Aburame clan or Sand Village Puppet Corps.

thats one plot point i always thought as weird. When J found out about the Rinnegan, why didnt he took the 3 back to the Leave? They would have been a great asset for them there.
I also just realized technically black zetsu was also controling Asura and since madara was an reincarnation of him. so then madara was being controled by asura's will and asura who was being controled by black zetsu ect.

I think Jiraiya was told that the children were killed or that they didn't survive due to the rain village being a battleground because of the war and that's why he didn't "check" on them every now and then. I don't know if this is an anime only fact that happened briefly in an episode or if its canon in the manga.
The world wasn't fully peaceful but in Boruto, but the 5 kages kept any other big war away for 16 years before the oototsuki got involved. It was enough of a peace that technology improved dramatically. So, I would say Naruto did achieve world peace for decent amount of time.

Nagato's not just a Naruto, he's a Darth Vader as well.
I think the point of the Rinne-revival technique is that it bonds souls back to their bodies but it's more a question of range between the souls and bodies. And there seems to be a window between death and passing over as we see with Kakashi's dead conversation with his dad. So when Nagato revived Konoha, all the souls were still around waiting to cross over so they could all be restored relatively easily but Jiraiya was already crossed over. Madara on the other hand possibly wouldn't have been able to be revived if not for Kabuto resurrecting him as an edo tensei, which brought his soul back to the living world, and then the rebirth just fused it properly to his body.
All 5 Kage work together to ensure peace between all the villages. There’s just the few outlaw, bandit, a usual troublemakers. No great Ninja Wars anymore though.
My personal theory on the spacesuits is that they were to protect from Hanzo's poisonous gas since presumably he would have his salamander summons spitting gas everywhere because he was like the only high tier ninja that could defend the rain.

Going through Tekking's Naruto videos, surprised he hasn't done a video on Shisui yet.
The head gear the kids had had filter systems for the poisons of the battle fields. Hanzo specifically used dangerous poison gas in huge amounts everywhere he fought
Its peaceful in a level around Europe in IRL, the lands butt head alot and there is tension but the overall threat of war without the aliens is very low outside of the fringe areas (though some are more hawkish). Removing the otusiki also removes Kira and thus most of those threats.

Without any spoilers and excluding the aliens I would say surprisingly yeah, they actually achieved world peace. Every once in a while you'll get some minor villain/bandit but even the evil organization has to do with the otsustuki clan.
We need more tekking discussing other series like this
The weird suits the trio wore as kids could be protection from acid rain but they look more like atmospheric diving suits. Maybe flooding is a big issue where they're from.

Yes Tekking. The world is at peace in Boruto without the Otsutsuki. The world is so at peace that Tenten is having a rough time running her weapons shop because there are barely any battles and no war at all.
When I first saw the name 'Akatsuki' I was at that point of watching subbed anime that I was 'I can figure this out', so for a while I was reading it as Aka Tsuki or 'Red Moon'. And I thought that made sense for the Eye of the Moon thing.
Loving the Akatsuki series man I just recently read Naruto for the first time and loved it. Will you be doing a Sannin series?
