I can relate to that man I lost my dad back in 2019 December 2019 two days before Christmas and I was building this little Nissan hardbody with a 30 over at 350 in it you know just a little cruiser of sleeper that me and him could Cruise in and I sold that truck three times and I ended up with it back and now it's going to be with me the rest of my life and now it's got a 388 stroker so I'm here to tell you man it would be the worst thing you ever did is not to finish your project you and your dad started God bless you and keep your head up it'll get better in life

I feel like the Malibu is around that sweet spot of being fast enough to be fun and competitive without overly pushing the equipment to achieve that performance leading to part failures and more money being tossed at it than the return you get from it investment wise. Looks like such a good time, keep it up!

I have had same issue with my car years ago. It was electrical. The coil was bad. Just a quick fix thought. Hope he gets Camaro going better. Malibu looking good too.

I had a 78 Butternut Yellow Malibu, 355cid and a 700R… basically identical to yours. I rolled into the local car spot about 9pm, looking for a late model car to beat up on. The lead guy in their crew said “Naww man, we know better than to trust you old guys and them old cars” I couldn’t buy a race that night.
The boy in the Dodge is a good friend of mine's son. He does love to work on it and he is also damn good at it. 5600lb 4x4 truck running mid 11's is very respectable

I am a gear head through and through...but I love my electric lawn equipment. Once they come out with a decent 36" electric rider. I will probably buy one. Currently using the Ego 56 volt for the mower, weed easter, leaf blower and hedge trimmers. But I have 4 chargers and 5 batteries, so I never have the bettey issue.
@@Daddyrabbit_2 I really kind of dislike electric vehicles...I honestly never would have thought I would like electric lawn equipment. But between how light and quiet everything is, I love them. I can literally talk on the phone through my ear bud while I mow or weed eat...or you can talk to someone standing next to you. I will say that the only draw back with the mower is, you have to keep the blade insanely sharp for a good cut. Electric motors are tourquey, but I don't think the blade carries the same speed that a gas mower does.
@@jondough4116 Nah, I live in the midwest...just got a chance to try them out, And I liked them. I am actually a tech at a performance shop for light duty diesels, I take emmisions equipment off for a living, I could never live in california. The same goes in the shop really, all my tools are electric now instead of pneumatic. My air compressor is just for charging my sure shots and tires any more.

I am a gear head through and through...but I love my electric lawn equipment. Once they come out with a decent 36" electric rider. I will probably buy one. Currently using the Ego 56 volt for the mower, weed easter, leaf blower and hedge trimmers. But I have 4 chargers and 5 batteries, so I never have the bettey issue.
Cub Cadet already makes an electric rider.

@@Daddyrabbit_2 I really kind of dislike electric vehicles...I honestly never would have thought I would like electric lawn equipment. But between how light and quiet everything is, I love them. I can literally talk on the phone through my ear bud while I mow or weed eat...or you can talk to someone standing next to you.
I will say that the only draw back with the mower is, you have to keep the blade insanely sharp for a good cut. Electric motors are tourquey, but I don't think the blade carries the same speed that a gas mower does.
@@jondough4116 Nah, I live in the midwest...just got a chance to try them out, And I liked them. I am actually a tech at a performance shop for light duty diesels, I take emmisions equipment off for a living, I could never live in california.
The same goes in the shop really, all my tools are electric now instead of pneumatic. My air compressor is just for charging my sure shots and tires any more.
