5:40 the matoran language on the jacket says "good for health, bad for education". it is a reference to the anime film Akira who one of the characters, named Kaneda, wears a jacket with that phrase and rides a bike. fitting for Lesovik.
I was looking for ur name to write it down here coz I remember I have watched ur video with spinax like a week before but as I can see u're already here. Fantastic job with that bionicle.
@@maszkalman3676 the original plan was to rerelease the original 2001 Tahu but that wasn't possible since all the molds were destroyed so they changed the plan to ccbs, which they also didn't have the molds of anymore so they used system out of necessity, they still did their best to capure the details of the original 2001 set. I do have to say, it was very overpriced but it was all they could do.
I showed these to some friends of mine last night, we spoke about how some of the mocs here certainly hit harder than others, but the fact they all came together and re-created the ENTIRE THING is crazy and should be commended. (Also I adore Dekar, Sarda and Defilak are my favourites, I love em)
I actually built a freaking great moc myself, took lots of inspiration from your videos. Might send a few photos and some lore of him to inspire others aswell. Love the videos
Dude, I was beating myself over the head believing that almost all my bionicles where lost/sold, but you can't believe how happy I am that on december the 5th, I managed to find my Maxilos and Spinax set back, almost 99% complete! ...save for the cannon's projectiles, one of spinax's thigh pieces and a three common lego technic pieces, but I think I can still find these on bricklink..
I like the design of the interpretation of Gadunka, but in terms of your explanation for the Mask of Life giving him robotic limbs I'm not so sure. Everything we've seen the Ignika influence always had some organic factor, from Gadunka, to the Vorox tail, to even making it's own body out of what looks like kelp... and I realize as I'm saying this it made Mata Nui's body out of sand.
Not entirely sure how I feel about the Gadunka one. I mean, the one in-canon wasn't actually mutated, just greatly enlarged, so the MOC doesn't really take the lore into account as much as you seem to think...

Thanks for the feature Ben! I'm definitly planning on bringing these guys to Brickfair this year!!

Rip the drop tests victims
These videos, not only helps with bionicle inspiration, but has also been quite helpfull with getting out of an art block. Never stop, Cossy
Glad they have been helpful for you man, thank you for your kind words :)

These designs are insane, they make Lego look nothing like lego
@7:30 that light gray barrel piece is also in the new Galaxy Explorer set. Much cheaper than the star destroyer, relatively! Haha
Ahhh fair enough! Well good that it's easier to get now :)
If only Lego went in this direction when revealing that system Tahu figure…
Yeah it wouldn't look like a soulless 100 dollar ripoff made out of redcycled few cents worth of system parts.
@@maszkalman3676thats all we are gonna get cus thats how much they care about the fans and the IP.

I think nocturn canonically lost one of his arms to Pridak, so his tentacle appearing as though it's a regrown limb is fitting.

The Mahri is probably my favorite wave of Bionicle...I am SO EXCITED for this.
This is one of the best collabs I have seen so far!
Love your vids keep doing them
*talks about lore of every titan*
*Gets to Maxilos*
*Talks no lore and completely misses the Easter eggs*
I would pay a lot of money for that Maxilos and Spinax set
Maxilos and spinax moc might be the most beautiful thing I've ever seen in leg9
Wow they look so good. Maxilos & Spinax and Hydraxon are my favorite ones!

So Makuta Teridax finally has a bigger body.
I still have the Brutaka sett
Nocturn looks like a damn pokemon
Hydraxon's new look is awesome but Lesovikk has to be my absolute favorite.
Nocturn looks like something out of WH40K
Dang! :D
That mutated Pit Brutaka set was a legitimate set, but was never rerleased, unfortunately
Also, you are correct with your guesses on the Spinax moc, MitchBuilds built it.
Ngl mahri and karda nui were my favorites(plus rahkshi)
I want that spinaax
Can you please do an Invasion From Below episode?
Haha you're the second person to ask me that this week, since there's a bit of interest I can absolutely do it, I'll bump it up on the list :)
Hi
13:38 The mouth piece of Brutaka is the jaw of a Mega Bloks set: bricker.info/images/sets/MEGABLOKS/9387_main.jpg
Maxilos and spinax in this remake gives a very alt goth vibe, could just imagine him like this walking his pet / companion in the ocean
Gadunka reimagined actually works so well
hyrdaxon is just Death's Head from transformers and his own comics
