I have had the Latin America version of the A55 for a month or so here in the Oregon/Washington area. Picked the 8/256 version thru WirelessPlace for $325 USD. Runs on TMobile with no issues.
For a normal consumer A55 already provide enough value as compared to S24 FE
The a55 can not be compered to the s24 fe.. y'all are being completely deceived by the similarities in design. The a55 DOES not have a flagship processor, telephoto lens, 8k recording, wireless charging, samsung dex, AI features, 7 years of updates. Stop comparing what it's not comparable.

There's also the pirce difference. Question is, is the S24FE twice as good to be twice as expensive? I wouldn't say so, 95% of people would be vrey well off with the A55.
Except the telephoto lens, the average user doesn't give a heck about 8k, wireless charging, dex or AI, so the comparison is legit imho

I have just ordered a Samsung A55 in Awesome Iceblue. My trusty old Samsung S8 is on it's last legs. I have had it for several years. Currently writing this message on it.
I was going to buy the S23 FE but I thought the A55 would serve my needs just as well. I don't play games. I mainly watch movies, tv shows and RUclips videos. Apart from that I use WhatsApp, Twitter and surf the net. Hopefully it will be OK for all those thing's. Should last me a few years.

Wait about 5 to 6 months for the price to drop and thank me later. The FE price always drops a lot in the months after. There is a 512gb model in the Malaysian market. Thats the only one I'll even consider getting.
Only one problem in flagship series...... Lack of SD Card slot. I still don't understand that what is the logic behind removing a very useful feature, and what a stupid ARGUMENT they made that this is because of bigger storage, what if i have 128, 256 GB card(s) full of media content & i wanna bring that all into my device, connecting a USB, waste my 2 hours, waste my battery life, after some hours i have to delete all and to repeat the process...
Now even Galaxy A34 has circle to search!
well, every android 12+ phone has that feature. Samsung just rebrand it to that name, instead telling people it's actually just google lens new feature integrated to google assistant

Good comparison. In Malaysia, the A55 is about RM1k cheaper than the S24 FE. Depending on budget and priorities, one of these phones might be the one for you.

Once a56 is released, s24 fe will be at around the same price as it. Just like s23 fe did. That's the better deal.
CTS is available on the A55. And it's a great phone for the price! It's just a bit too heavy for my liking.
I'd rather wait and see what the A56 has to offer next year. I need an SD slot and 256GB just won't be enough without an SD slot if I'm planning to keep the FE for a few years. The FE is also double the price of an A55 here in South Africa so yeah, I'm going to keep my A54 and see what the A56 bring to the table next year...

The midrange should never be compared with the flagship, the flagship will definitely win. You should compare the S24 Fe with any other phone in the S series.
The s24 fe is a sad phone. It's the same specs as an s20 fe with no SD and a lesser selfish camera. The newer chip and size is the only thing better. Definitely not upgrading from my s20 fe.... pixel 9 or s24 seems like my only options
its not about megapixels etc., s24fe has i think similar, if not the same sensors as s24, so the camera is great

Samsung ke itnae mehangae phone lene se koi matlab nahi hai .2-2.1/2 saal mein bina physical damage ke bhi software update ke Karan display pe green line form ho rahi hai aur jab aap service centre mein aap phone submit karogae tho Samsung service centre wale apko free replacement ki jagah(update ke Karan jo display pe green line form hui hai)warranty Aur kuch dents ka hawala de kar 20000/- display ke mangagae jo bahut hi naa insafi hai . Mujae aisa lag raha ki ye Samsung ki Sochi samji chal hai jo kharab update bhejkar logo ko bewkoof bana kar thug raha hai aur display ke jariye mothi kamai kar raha hai .Aur mere hisab se Bahut point se iPhone hi best rahega.apple customers ki care karta hai jab ki samsung sirf apni kamai ki care karta hai
