It *IS* Flesh and Blood. Just a waifu edition. Once it gets out to the unwashed public, all the early adopters have the most expensive cards that you totally can't have cuz you're a filthy casual, GTFO. And they sell the cardboard and move on to the next thing to make more profit. Fail.
I'm sad I missed the KS (I was busy w/ family emergency stuff from nov-feb and completely missed learning about this till after KS was closed) but I'm hype to play and I got my locals to give it a try

Very hopeful for this game. Last time I tried an anime art style game was Force of Will and sadly I was late to the party.

I pulled out of the KS on this when they announced NFTs. I wasn't really in the tier I wanted anyhow (it had already sold out). Later found out they dropped the NFT thing, and I wish I had stayed in.
I like that foils are fairly rare. What I'm worried about the is the cost to play for a new game. It takes 21 boxes to open a full playset of SRs (strictly speaking numerically, not duplicates, etc.). That's a pretty high barrier for entry. I'm not sure what the singles market is going to look like, but given the distribution of SRs, I can imagine they could be pretty pricy (the competitive cards at least).
Silvie coins will be able to be redeemed via a card vending machine at future cons/events from what they said

My friend got me hyped on the game. Will definitely fill the big sad void that FoW left in my heart. Printed the PnP decks to hopefully get interest at my shop
I honestly think Grand Archive can succeed where Force of Will failed. They just have to not mess up over and over like FoW 😆

Cards look absolutely incredible, hoping they up foil rates with alter!
I honestly kinda like how rare they are after FAB with 1 foil per pack and MTG with...whole packs that are foil lol
@@RedZoneRogue i can completely understand that. I think there is a middle ground somewhere though. With how many commons uncommons there are, surely they have to be as rare or more rare than the CRs? I think even like.. 6 foils in a box would be reasonable.

More than a full set by a large margin for most...with the exception of missing 1 lvl 3 Lorraine

@Ugandan Knuckles because the game is actually good and the quality is better than most AAA games? The games not even out yet and there's weekly tournaments firing off. It's much more than just another cynical KS tcg, there's genuine player interest
@@ugandanknuckles464 Saying Weiss is better than this. 😂 This is literally the anime version of FaB. Solid gameplay and amazing art with a good team running it. How would this not succeed?
@@ugandanknuckles464 Only backed a case actually and Weiss is trash. Uses other ips and half the sets are screen captures from tv shows.
@@ugandanknuckles464 weiss is buns and wixoss is mid. Also lorcana and battle spirits will be big boy games. Most of the kickstarter tcgs are tier 2-3 games, and a lot more of them are able to exist. Obviously it wont compete with the big boys, but it potential to do much better than games like dbs, digimon, weiss, vanguard etc.

This looks good... but have they said anything about how decent it has to do sales wise to survive? Im just not willing to gamble anymore, too many dead games. Plenty of Japanese games have amazing card stock and fun mechanics, then die when they hit a snag or they dont correct something. I get that this is a western group behind the game and just the art is japanese, hope they are playing the long game though
While the anime style doesn't do it for me, I definitely appreciate the presentation of this game. Everything oozes quality, from the art, to the card templating, to that gorgeous card back. I probably won't be picking any up myself, but I'm happy the anime card game fans have something new to be (rightly) hyped over!
