Affluence

Is having a lot of money an unqualified good? We tend to think so. However, in Jesus' words to a young, rich, and religious man in Mark 10:17-31, we find that affluence can be a hindrance to entering the Kingdom of God. These surprising words make us think about both what is necessary to enter God's Kingdom and how we relate to money.
