- Phone talks when you touch the screen? There is a lady voice playing when you touch the screen of your phone? - Then, the talk back feature for the blind and low vision Android users it has been turned on. How to disable screen reader 》talkback is:
1. With the screen on, press both VOLUME KEYS for three secs.
2. When "DISABLE TALKBACK select OK or CANCEL" Message appears select Ok, double tap inside of the green selection or green box and done!!
Talkback it's a spoken feedback that allows the blind people and low vision people to operate their Android phone without looking at the screen. When talk back it's on there is a lady voice telling, or saying the name of the application or folder where the finder it's being placed or what the finger it's been touched. When screen reader talkback, its on, when you touch the screen, a green selection, green square, or green line appears on the screen of the phone, and you double tap in the green square to open such app or folder.
How to turn off talkback (screen reader | talk back) follow these steps:
1. UNLOCK SCREEN by placing two fingers

One of my neighbor who has zero knowledge on cell phone came to me to help her to turn off voice talkback, she was so frustrated with her cell phone constantly talking. You have to have a IQ above 140 to see why the TalkBack feature on a TCL cellphone is hard to turn off because it is meant to frustrate it's owner's .
If it wasn't the b*******would put the directions in the settings portion of the phone where you could find the know how quickly.
With that irritating voice speaking at every touch of the phone and then some.
It would make a person with or without patience go maddd trying to silence it
