- How to hard reset TCL Phone on all wireless carriers. Plus this smartphone is from Tracfone Wireless and works on the Verizon network if your phone is unlocked and has the correct SIM card. The step by step procedure on how to factory hard reset your TCL phone back to cell phone factory settings will work on virtually all TCL wireless phones. Hi Nick.Will this reset clear up the hibernate function problem on my TCL phone..
If I put the phone on to hibernate .The phone will go off altogether a few seconds after and I have to start the phone from being off altogether every time i need to use it.

Once you reset the phone and it restarts, is the Tracfone logo all that is displayed? Nothing else related to Tracfone appears, right?
The model is a T775H TCL 20L+ It was recommended to me to do a hard reset as I have a vertical line down my phone which is in the phone itself and not the screen protector.

I dont have the same buttons on my TCL 20. I have an up volume button and a down volume button. I held down the power button and the volume up button and it just turned on as usual and none of the information shown to reset.

How do I open to put the battery
My issue with this phone is it’s not charging. Any advice on what to do in this situation? It’s down to 35% and I currently try have it off. Gonna try cleaning the charging port first. Hopefully you can link a video of you have one on what to do. TIA 🙏

I have a TCL 20 S and it keeps restarting stock on TCL 20s screen, Recovery mode wont respod. it shows the menue but nothing responds.
for anyone wondering I fixed it by cleaning the usb port.. odd but that was the solution, had to open the damn thing up entirely and then clean it then close it.

A hard factory reset will not delete, or remove or bypass the owners or previous owners Google account (email) from phone. Google accounts (email) and Android phones are tied together and tracked through Google. This is for security to help prevent phone theft. You either have to log in using a known Google username and password or PIN previously set up on the device by you or previous owner (contact previous owner) or contact Google directly and get the Google account sorted out.

Everything is deleted when performing a hard reset back to factory settings on a smart phone.

It might be a bad battery, bad USB charging cable, bad wall charger, bad USB port on phone or bad/broken phone hardware.

The phone TCL is garbage, just see if you qualify for a government phone, my friend has one that's is ten times better than this piece of junk, not worth Over A hundred bucks on Amazon, it's worth $30 Dollars.
