If there is an end, there must be a beginning - and if there is such a thing as a beginning, then there must be an end. So what can make manifestion begin - considering we are in a creation where we can't even count how many universes are contained therein?
Secondly, physics has shown that all matter is recycled. So, how can the consciousness within matter end? Meaning, there can be nothing to observe unless there is an observer. This is why many say Shiva is the greatest in the Hindu trinity.
There is enough evidence of life's immortality. It's such a shame that we can't simply enjoy, and play, and love/care and live in a state of wonder, because this really does feel so good. Ancient Yogic mystics have said the highest expression of perceiving the true nature of reality is 'Ah...' And physicist Fred Alan Wolf said, 'The real trick to life is not to be in the know, but to be in the mystery...'
Me thinks that proving we understand this is if nukes start to go off, we can be in that place of, 'Ah...'

My own experience tells me that it's a trap and a mistake to overthink, endlessly intellectualizing in our attempt to define this. This only leads to the creation of illusory conclusions. Thank you,Sergej, for bringing in beautiful Dr. Moody! He is such a brave soul, bringing out a Book in the 70s with such subject as a Phd! I was 11 years old, when my mother and all her friends were reading his book and I remember how puzzled I was when she told me: in this book the Doktor claims, that we will be born again and that a soul never dies! My answer was: of course, how should it be otherwise? I could not believe that adults would not know this and could be astonished😂. 2012 in the middle of a normal crazy and busy life, I found my mothers book again and read it myself for the second time and that was the time, I got into this material again and since then never stopped ! So 3 times in my life I have to thank you, dear Dr. Moody! You are part of my awaikening! Thanks again Sergej, and of course I have subscribed❤. Much love from Germany

What a joy to hear both of these brilliant pioneers in this field. I appreciate Dr Moody's comment about people just showing interest in the story with minimal to no interest in the concepts. It is frustrating, but at least a little can be learnt through story telling and hopefully it opens up their curiosity so that over a lifetime, they might learn a little more. The most important point for me, is that research, albeit exploratory and phenomenologically based, is very important in terms of the evolution of consciousness. And the two of you are among the leaders in the field, if not the top leaders in the field. Thank you for your contributions to consciousness! The physically based humans - ones who can only see physical reality clearly have great difficulty in conceptualizing any other frame of understanding. But the sciences of consciousness are now blending perceptual and cognitive understandings between all disciplines - atomic physica, neuro biology, psychiatry, psychology and computer science. This explores the concepts in physics that time and space are relative and so on, and opens the framework that our physical reality might not be what we have thought it is. A fascinating time to share the consciousness journey explorations right now!

I loved hearing Raymond and Paul discussing this subject at the more advanced level and without having to waste the first 10 minutes explaining their initial entries into this matter, as is typical in most of their interviews.
I will offer explanation about the majority who indulge at the levels of NDE 101 & 201. 101 consumers are the tourists looking for Raymond's referenced entertainment, while others are scratching the surface of their own inherent fear of their own death.
NDE 201 students seek answers to explain and assuage death's personal impact on those they are close to and love. From personal experience, I know how holding the corpse of one's own child, rocks your world like a 9.0 earthquake.
Over 40 years ago, I was a member of a SIDS support group and we had an aggressive outreach for similarly situated parents in our community of 50,000. This one young mother was hard to locate, until her unchecked grief consumed her and she shot herself through the heart, on her baby's snow covered grave. I try to help prevent similar tragedies, by introducing not just parents to this secular evidence that said children did not seemingly just evaporate into nothing like a puff of steam, but also other affected siblings, grandparents and friends. I know similar grief sent my cousin to an early grave, after his brother was 1 of 51 killed at Willow Island in 1978 and self medication of alcohol failed him in his grief management.
One must have some credible information and answers about the true condition of their child. Extrapolation from the experience of others brings some comfort and relief to most, while others like me, need to dig deeper. Because of his decades of extensive work in this field, is why I have long held a deep love for Raymond, that most people don't comprehend.

The idea that people are interested in stories and not concepts is an interesting insight. There *are* people interested in concepts. For example, from the time I was in 4th grade I thought there was something not quite right with me because I couldn't stay with the factual and real subject but immediately went off to making up an explanation. I would wonder what was wrong with me, why I couldn't stick with what RM calls "the stories." There are probably lots of such folks. I'm almost as old as RM, & have spent my life studying and thinking about such things, and hopefully will be able to add my own experiences, thoughts and insights to the discussion. FWIW. RHT, PhD

Nice interview. Very calm and peaceful. I agree shared death experiences are more realistically believable because they incorporate into our material reality through which others can understand our personal experiences. My Out of Body Experiences were not enough for others but having shared experiences of seeing what people call ghosts confirmed to me also that something survives after death which we can experience while still alive in this world even though I have no doubt of the spiritual afterlife. I see how Paul's experience was precognitive rather than dejavu beause he heard the voice as a cognitive process rather than the mind calculating different stimuli and experiences from memory and forming a possible conclusion as a prediction.

When I was a little kid in the 80's, there was a man in our church that told the story of his nde. Of course, this was not at all talked about or known of back then. He said he was floating above his body, which was on an operating table. I remember believing what he said as true. Now, years later I hear these stories and it gives me confirmation of both his story and the stories of the people who share their stories on channels like this.

Religions and atheists have carved up the afterlife (or lack thereof) between themselves and convinced the rest of us that one or the other is 'my team' and that ends the discussion. Anyone who doesn't fall in line with this dichotomy is left to find their own way and suffer being called 'weird' or just plain 'crazy'. There is a third path, and it lies within each and every one of us. The Creator is within as well as without, as everything that is, is one with the All.

NDE is simply a direct route that tends to occur when we’ve either veered off of our path or it’s necessary because it’s the quickest most viable way to access transformative information.

I am beginning to think that the whole "you must believe he died for your sins or you are toast" was a human construct. To gain control and power. What better way to do it, then prey on people's fears. The NDE experiences by people, thousands and thousands talk over and over about unconditional love. Your soul judges itself. You learn and grow as a soul. The Bible is full of half truths. There's been so much left out, like reincarnation, women's roles etc... Why do kids experience it 87% of the time and adults only like 17% . I even tried DMT to see if perhaps we are born with more DMT and it dwindles as we age, just like older people seem to dream less. But I could totally tell dmt was not it cause all it does is cause an extreme physical disconnect between your mind and limbs forcing you into a visual kaleidoscope without a sense of your body. I think everybody wants to know if there is an afterlife. Everybody is afraid of dying, at least most of us. But stories and studies like this can also be very confronting to people. I mean, if there is an afterlife, with a presence of love and light, there is a chance that there is a God. And people may not like this idea. People would like to believe that when they die they will enter a place of eternal love and acceptance.
And is there a condition to enter in? For instance do people like Hitler can enter in? Or is there a condition that this God, this Presence has? People will say that Hitler does not deserve this place because of what he did in WW2. But what about me? Am I good enough? What is God's criteria for being " good enough ". For me as a christian I believe I am not good enough to enter in, I am not deserving. But Christ made it possible for me to enter this place of light, of love, which I call heaven.
So I can enter in by faith in Christ, not my own "goodness".
And this christian way of approaching the afterlife, may not be appealing to some.

I have a great idea. When you're asking a person to share their NDE story, why not hook them up to a simple lie detector?

Maybe there is another reason why near death experiences are not made by the brain. I heared stories from people who nearly had an accident but then it didnt Happen. Sometimes the Event happened during around one or two seconds but they had near death experiences that were so full if details that it could have been hours. In that one second, the brain was not damaged and i dont think we can say it was DMT, because DMT cant Show up just for a second and then go away. At least thats what i think. It Was just a thought i had.

When we are under anesthesia, we are unable to have complex anything. Thoughts, dreams... our brain activity is zero or close to. Yet, people can see what's going on in the operating room and clearly depict what is going on. Names, observations... all impossible under anesthesia. Vertical NDE'S are the bench mark with the credibility of NDE'S.

I disagree that people just want to be entertained. They want to understand the nature of this reality. They may also want to have their fears assuaged. Don't be so so dismissive of people. It doesn't do you credit. People are much more complex than you give them credit regarding their reasons for being interested in NDE's.
