Oil pump gears or crank sprockets aren't necessarily needed, but it's a good insurance policy for your Coyote 5.0. Very few Coyotes actually experience engine failure due to oil pump gears, and those vehicles are usually launching off a 2-step or repeatedly hitting the rev limiter, which creates bad harmonics/vibrations that result in oil pump gear failure.

As good as the ET Street R tires are you might want to try the M&H Racemasters. Haha I tossed around the idea of selling the C7 and F150 and building out a killer daily F150. Anyways thanks for the video and break down. You can put a Lariet Transfer case, change out the selector dial, and a software flash. For the 4A option for around 1500. Which will get you better times, launches and hooks. Because it will switch between 4x4 and 2 wheel drive at optimal times. If you want even better you can put a raptor transfer case in there. But you have to some custom software stuff to make it work.
