    Take them out of the package for a week, lay them flat and in the sun when you can to get creases out. Using a steamer on the old upholstery prior also helps with taking out wrinkles and brings out expansion/eliminates indentations. Also, do yourself a favor and get a roll of velcro (sticks to inner fabric) and use it on the head rests underneath to give it a secure look versus hanging like a table cloth. Take out the seats, and invest in some parachute cord for under the seats to give it a snugger/tighter fit all around. A few more dollars and steps to make them actually look OEM and just like products that cost hundreds more.

    Just got the front seats for my 2016 f150 and they fit really nice except the head covers and center console but I’m not to worried the seats look way better compared to the worn down cloth seats

    I ordered this same set for my Tacoma. They do look nice. The comment you made about the hardest part was getting the straps to pull through the bottom for the rear install was an understatement lol. I hope they hold up because they sure do look nice and fit very well.

    How'd you get the middle back seat belt to fit through on the seat. I know there is a strap on top fit it through but what about the bottom. Did you unscrew the belt. I just got the same cover too.

    • @brentivanrodriguez
      @brentivanrodriguez 2 года назад

      you have to slide the seat cover behind the belt from left to right or vise versa

      @The_Last_Exodus Год назад +1

      I know exactly what your talking about. Just installed them. And there is a hole so you can unscrew the buckle and pass it thru the hold provided on the seat cover. No one explains this where I’ve checked. If you don’t the material just wrinkles at the bottom.

    Took me 15-25 minutes to figure out how those straps on the front seats work. Only got the first one on today

    Hey Flash,
    How they holding up so far?

    • @flashhobbies
      @flashhobbies  Год назад

      They have held up great and I have a one year old. No issues with them fading or tearing.

  • @Harpoonarooney

    Have you an update on the wrinkles? Would you now, after a month of use, have contacted LMC and asked them why they didn't make the head rest covers to be just like the seat covers?
    I tried a set of BDK seat covers and when it came to the head rest covers, their "one size fits all" attitude made the back seat look like it had a blanket on ot, and it's head rests were wearing shower caps! 😅😅

      On my 2022 TRD sport the headrest seem to fit a “little tighter”.
      The bottom cover of my drivers seat fits exactly In line with the cloth. But I do have power seats.

      @brentivanrodriguez 2 года назад +1

      you can use some duck tape to make them fit better 😆

  • @armandchargois5733

    For the novice trying to do this, there was no explanation on how you got the headrest off of the seat… Just saying

    • @flashhobbies
      @flashhobbies  Год назад +2

      Sorry. I thought that was a common sense thing. There’s a button at the base of the headrest that you hold while you pull up on the headrest.
