Sony aps-c cameras are getting great 3rd party lens for fantastic prices. When using this lens on a Sony A7R5 or A7CR in crop mode, you will get full aps-c resolution. Of course, those with aps-c bodies will use this lens to its fullest.

more megapixels than most of the apsc lineup. only the a6700 matches resolution
