I just got the Kepler as well and wanted to ask how you took the back fender off. My guess is you have to take the back tire off to access the Allen screws under the fender?
Yes, I had much of the bike apart when stripping it down. I think i go through most of this in my videos(I have a few on ebike) but one part i may have not mentioned in depth was, I had to remove the rear tailight wire from inside the bottom of the fender, as I wanted to use the taillight and ended up mounting light to seat using a bracket from Amazon. To re-use the tailight wire i had to remove it from fender underside, i think it was riveted on if I recall and I drilled out rivets. The wire itself is run through a wire loom to protect it from tire debris ect, so I had to remove the wire itself from the loom in order to make it shorter to ziptie, as the length is so long I had to coil wire up with a ziptie since it only now runs directly from bottom area straight up to seat. Be careful removing the wire loom, I think i cut loom with a scissors starting at one end going down lengthwise carefully to get wire out of the loom being careful not to damage wire and get the wire with PLUG END out of loom altogether.... and then just discarded loom. Because you need to be able to plug the very end of wire back into the plug near light under seat. Hopefully that makes sense. Cheers!
