The celebrity factor doesn't work in Europe. I'm Portuguese and I tell you, if Ronaldo were to run for the Portuguese presidency the whole country would have to be given a two-week holiday just for us to recover from so much laughing. (We love to watch him play football, though.)

@@raydavison4288 First of all, we have to realize that Biden did not really "win" the election. In truth, Trump lost the election because the election was really a referendum on how he dealt with COVID-19. Biden literally spent the entire campaign season avoiding interviews, avoiding explaining his plans, etc. So, literally, Oprah, by having more of a presence (and a generally positive one) than Biden would naturally bring out more people to vote for her. Almost everyone I know couldn't think of a good reason to vote for Biden, but almost everyone I know certainly did vote and chose Biden on the ballot because he was not Trump.

He should NOT, however, take any Democrats out of the House or Senate! We need them to keep their seats! Same with governors & state-level elected officials. IDK where I'd put everyone, but I think he should use people like Yang, Marianne Williamson, MAYBE Mayor Pete (as long as his seat as mayor remains occupied by a Dem., and other people outside those currently in office. It's important to get new ideas, new insights, new perspectives, and people who can communicate a vision of possibilities in positions where they can have influence & where more Americans can get to know them!
