- We had the pleasure of being joined in the studio by comedian Bassem Youssef as he kicks off his The Middle Beast tour.
He came by JOE Towers to chat about Israel's ongoing campaign of violence against the Palestinians, the West's complicity in war crimes being perpetrated by the IDF and Benjamin Netanyahu's government, and how the media needs to be more responsible in its coverage of the bombardment of Gaza.

I've lost track of the number of articles I've read and RUclips videos I've watched on this topic and this is far and away the most insightful. This entire interview was simply brilliant because it stated the facts simply with no attempt to spin them. As an atheist with no attachment to capitalism this is a very difficult world to not shake your head and question the hypocrisy that passes as reporters, let alone a journalist.

That firehouse sale at that synagogue in Toronto was reported to the Minister of Justice and the AG of Canada. The pro-Palestinian solidarity movementhas been very active on that front and we have been pressuring the Government Of Canada to change its policy vis a vis Israel n it slowly has. They stopped sending weapons...albeit they still tried to ship stuff from Colt, Raytheon, Safran, TTM warehouses....shipments that were in progress before the policy change. Workers have walked off the job or protesters have blockaded the places, too. Everyone is doing their best to apply pressure.🇵🇸✊️🧡

I defo agree with sanctions, but from listing to protestors it sounds more like they want us to declare war on isreal. Which I dont think will ever happen.
A lot of pressure is being put on the west to "act" but no one is doing anything, not even the protestors are doing anything, they are just moaning from afar demanding others do something....not them though.
