- My recent travels took me to the far east and one of its most incredible cities Bangkok! I took the opportunity to learn all about its transport system and hitched a ride with a Bangkok taxi driver to find out what life is like driving a taxi in this amazing city. #bangkoktaxi #taximeter #Bangkok

Thailand wow. Did the cab game from 92 to 2021. Went to Thailand 40 times in those years. Couldn't have done it if I hadn't been a cabbie. Going to move to Thailand full time in 2 years, just love it. Hard graft in Bangkok . They have to put up with crazy traffic
Hello Mark, great video, the thailand taxi drivers suffered so much as we did. Non of them received any govt assistance ...Like us they have uber, bolt etc...

An interesting video … Thai taxi drivers seem to be doing well relatively .. with 500 balts rental and gas .. one should be able to net 1000 balts easily .. guess traffic jam could be horrific .. impacting their fair income .. Just came back from Bangkok .. no more annoying taxi issue … if there’s one thing bugging me in Bangkok .. it’s taxi .. inflated fixed price .. ride refusal .. haggling .. thanks to Grab .. problem solved .. prepaid convenient door to door service hassle free .. of course riding on the back of motor bike is very risky .. even tuktuk .. as they drive like a maniac … for no good reason .. as they’d be waiting for customer hours on end anyway
