This song strongly reminds me of Hands Up music. Not sure if that was the intention, but the structure, the rises, and the breakdowns are all reminiscent of good ol' Hands Up music!

I don't know what "Nexus" is in terms of dub-step music but regardless I loved this song and thought it was totally radical. Who-Rah~!
Nexus is a VST plugin for DAW programs, its not really the best synth for dubstep, Massive is the best synth for dubstep
