You know what? I'm gonna buy this. I loved this game on both the Wii and 3DS. Level design was top notch, challenging boss fights, decent soundtrack and it was sadistically hard if you didn't know what you were doing. Tropical Freeze took a great foundation and improved it, this was the foundation.

This is like equivalent to those old "Xbox Arcade" titles they had back on the 360 for a few bucks. Not even. I still think it’s crazy this game got remade not once but TWICE, like damn Nintendo really f-ing liked this game for some reason (I’m not saying it’s a bad game, it’s fun, but I definitely would’ve preferred a fully new DK game over a (second) remake of a 2010 game).
I remember how epic this was back in the SNES days. Going to best buy and seeing the monitor with this game and starfox from anywhere in the store. Outside of upgraded looks, I can't assume they are pushing the envelope that the original game did. Games are soft now a days, it's not that I am getting old but for me there is nothing to get excited about now a days just like the lack of physical collection of newer movies, only finding older movies I have not purchased yet.
