Glad to hear Wardlow tell a part of his life. May his father rest in peace. Now, Joe is about to get a proper beating. _Señor Joe, the numbers don't lie!_
It was great til he got “serious”. The intensity & anger were not up to the level of the emotion from the story he told. He doesn’t believe what he is saying. It’s too bad. The rest was awesome
The emotional side of this certainly shows the human side of Wardlow and if honest why we've grown to like him. The next step is giving him the title back at Revolution, let him run with this time till All Out, where depending on the MJF title reign is where Wardlow becomes that threat to take the title, feel it is written to be him next champ if not Bryan.
Though I probably should've seen the Joe angle in this coming at the end, but I really didn't. I hope this gets aired -constantly- and I hope it leads to Wardlow's best, most brutal match. I figure if anyone can make that happen, it's gotta be Joe, right? And honestly, it took a lot of guts for Wardlow to weave this into his story as a professional wrestler. I already loved the man but this is just incredible and daring stuff.
Wardlow is such an underrated talker and dresser 🔥. Easily one of the most emotionally connective promos of a wrestlers origins we've seen all year, what a great story even if it's for a storyline. Rip papa war dog
Beautiful interview by Jim Ross to Wardlow I really liked Wardlow's story and I'm very happy that he wants to take revenge on Samoa Joe and that at Revolution there will be the TNT title match between the two 🔥🔥🔥🔥🔥
Tony Khan is the worst booker. He didn't capitalized on Wardlow's momentum three times and now we are supposed to believe he's gonna do something with him. Tony will make Wardlow disappear again after Revolution.
Jim had a great interview with Wardlow about what’s next for him about Joe including his story about his dad and Wardlow will get even with Joe about cutting his hair off and get his title back
Also, I don't know if yall ever rewatched those final moments of that match, where he cut off Wardlow's hair... but if you look at it again, to me at least, it felt like Joe hesitated, as if he didn't want to do it, even if it WAS for a storyline, but you can also see Wardlow mouth out something, and I wonder if that was Wardlow telling him to go ahead. Massive respect for both men, and their willingness to give us such an amazing storyline.
Promo seems fine to me, not sure why everyone is losing it on Cornettes channel. Considering that it was all done in a single take, two at the very most.
Let the bulls go at it in a proper brutal hard-way slug fest. Enter the ring, Aubrey calls for the bell, and all bloody hell breaks loose. If you need a point of reference, refer to SAMOA JOE VS. NECRO BUTCHER, June 11 2005, IWA Mid-South ‘Something to Prove’ level of anarchy.
thats how it was with my dad to brother i watched him go from 260 at 6ft 3 .....down to maybe 130 pounds because of pancreotic cancer and it was so hard to see him like that ...believe me i kmno.....i lost my wife, dad, and sister in less than a year so i can relate..
Why not? They've only been burying him and mishandling his push since that stupid locker room incident, like a lot of people. Just add old Mike here to a list of talents like Brian Pillman Jr and FTR who have been WCW midcarded (buried, for all the Gen Z marks out there) by a company that is, last time I checked, actually trying to be a big league wrestling promotion. AEW is so frustrating to watch because we know they can put on some great TV (usually MJF is involved), but most of the time they give us random people we've never heard of and only the marks care about with no back story to make us care. The Pillman Jr thing over a year ago was a lay up and they missed the mark by a mile. AEW can't survive on their 1 million viewers if that per show that make up their core TV audience. But when you're a billionaire heir already, the incentive leans more towards fantasy booking than actually try to run a company that can be competitive in the wrestling business. I feel sorry for Wardlow, because he tries, but just when you thought his push was going smoothly, the guy basically does nothing for months and now they're having this big sit down interview with JR like he's a big deal. Funny, the last little while he's been treated like a glorified jobber. All this may work for the sub-1 million viewers who watch Dynamite, but for the rest of us who actually want to see AEW become more than a glorified Kliq, it's frustrating to watch.
I wonder why storylines have to be personal or some parts of them stem from personal aspects of wrestlers lives. Is that the only way they can be interesting and get fans invested?
Glad y'all posted the extended cut. This feels much more fitting than the tv cut version.
Glad to hear Wardlow tell a part of his life. May his father rest in peace. Now, Joe is about to get a proper beating. _Señor Joe, the numbers don't lie!_
Still trying to figure out how this made-up dad story is related to the feud with Joe...
@@sirjakeroberts1965 uh... Did you listen to it? Joe cut his hair off.
@@sirjakeroberts1965 it's not made up. Just because you're not around wardlow in real life it doesn't mean it's made up.
@@sirjakeroberts1965 did you see the video ?
@@k.t.1641 huh? You mean the hair was Warlows's dad?
Ok I got it now. Thanks.
We all have someone close to us who has suffered cancer, and I can understand that feeling. Emotional, heart touching promo by Wardlow.
I love it when AEW does these! More of this on the tv show please!
Tony Khan should hire bobby lashley to tell this story
These are old school that’s why it works. If only AEW wrestlers would sell now.
Was worried this was going to be cringe, but turned out to be a fantastic promo from a man who's becoming a legitimate star
It was great til he got “serious”. The intensity & anger were not up to the level of the emotion from the story he told. He doesn’t believe what he is saying. It’s too bad.
The rest was awesome

You weren't that emotional when Bobby Lashley told his life story, why?

Love the story and turn of emotion. Great motivation and great sitdown JR. Least they are actually making the hair have some matter in this.
FACTS and this segment in my opinion was what wardlow needed since tony botched his run with the tnt championship last year.
Wardlow gave a terrible angry promo at the end
Jim ross legend
I like Wardlow. Story was touching like no other 💔💯

Damn, that was heavy.
Wardlow is the Future. I Truly Believe in him. I'm rooting for you Wardlow!. Do what you gotta do to get ahold of the AEW Championship
Thanks for sharing a part of your past to make this match mean something more.
My condolences to Wardlow & his family
When I was watching live, I felt like this was missing something. Its crazy how much of a difference these few extra minutes make.
This should be a bloody violent amazing store .. wasn’t expecting that at the end he had me so sucked into the promo
Man this is gonna be so 🔥
Beautiful interview by Jim Ross to Wardlow I really liked Wardlow's story and I'm very happy that he wants to take revenge on Samoa Joe and that at Revolution there will be the TNT title match between the two 🔥🔥🔥🔥🔥
Wardlow is not a man to be messed with and deserves respect.
damn wardlow jus keep getting better and better!!!🎉🎉🎉
Glad to see my boy back. Love the new look dude. Keep at it and win that big belt soon!
This guy should not be wasted. I hope Triple H takes him under his wing n give him proper chances. We all saw how he helped Bautista.
R.I.P. Papa Wardlow & Thank you.
Tony Khan is the worst booker. He didn't capitalized on Wardlow's momentum three times and now we are supposed to believe he's gonna do something with him. Tony will make Wardlow disappear again after Revolution.
I agree. AEW needs a new booker, or bookers, if possible.
Jim had a great interview with Wardlow about what’s next for him about Joe including his story about his dad and Wardlow will get even with Joe about cutting his hair off and get his title back
Wardlow is indeed the rising star of AEW.
I love JR so much. I can relate to his condition and he inspires me everyday!
Being the son of a father currently battling metastatic Stage 4 Lung Cancer, and Stage 2 Bone Cancer... fucking hell this got me.
I’m really sorry to hear the news about Wardlow’s father, especially his condition on his health.
Holy shi that was emotional I felt everything he was saying 😢
I think this should have been a live promo on dynamite opening. People would be heavily invested.
Wardlow needs to be AEW World Champion soon
Wardlow ending was great.
But he looks so much better with the shorter hair.
Very relatable story though. Love Wardlow so much
Awesome video I can empathize with Wardlow
Wardlow is a legit star!
Put Jim Ross back on commentary 😂 yeah he messes up a few names but still a classic commentator 💯
Promo seems fine to me, not sure why everyone is losing it on Cornettes channel. Considering that it was all done in a single take, two at the very most.
Love that Wardlow chances are over Joe destroyer story goes, he's the one who ruled the world.
RIP Wardlow's Dad
This immediately feels like main event stuff.
Wardlow is really the full package
I feel this. I had the same thing when my dad was in hospice, unable to speak. Horrible experience.
This was brilliant. Sorry to hear about your dad
Amazing promo by a future World Champ. Glad he’s getting the attention he needs Cody should’ve put him over
He will eventually
Wardlow has a higher ceiling than MJF.
Awesome sit-down interview
Love Wardlow. Tony Khan has booked him so bad
Lost all his momentum after MJF
@@demarkusjones9725 should have booked him like a wrecking machine. He has been put in pansy storylines
Where is Wardlow now...
Great interview!
Wardlow 🧔🏼💪🏼🇺🇲 is one of the greatest wrestlers 🤼🏼♂️ at AEW.
Oh Boi Joe you are going to get it.
Heck yeah go wardlow 💪
May Wardlow’s father rest in peace🙏
Reminds me of me and my own father. I just hope I can prove that he can be proud of me
Ok. We see you Wardlow. Well done sir and my deepest condolences.
Their finally doing something with him and giving him more

a promo should leave an impact. This did exactly that
1️⃣🇼🇸 JOE AS 🧨 CHAMPION
2️⃣WARDLOW AS 🧨 CHAMPION
Sit down with jr it's always emotional
Wow that was deep
Behind every tough competitor lies a softer giant
tony dropped the ball HARD on wardlow smh
Cody Rhodes refused to put Wardlow over
@@MediCali951 so? they have 300 people on their roster, im sure they can find someone.
His hair and look now are terrible.
had a very similar thing happen to me last year. all love
Is it more or he looking more like Karrion Kross?
Needs the ponytail back!
I can't wait for AEW Revolution on March 5th (2023).
🔥🔥🔥🔥🔥
I love warldlow
Oh bless him may he rest in peace
great segment.
Just mite be promo of the year so far for me! I think joes about to get swashed!
From a monster who doesn't speak to doing sit down interviews with a suit on lol
Wo ist der lockere Wardlow hin? Also behaglich scheint er sich nicht zu fühlen 😉, als hätte er ' nen Stock verschluckt...
Warlord wins new TNT champions
Wardlow is such a great talker, I love Samoa Joe but after watching this I hope Wardlow finally beats him 💪
The rightful top guy in AEW
AEW is the best promotion 🔥💥👏🏼💪🏼💯
Wow, way to make Joe seem like hes the most dispicable man on the planet. That made me despise Joe a little bit there
It’s Wardlows World 🌎
Wardlow is a Good Dude, hope him and Joe steal the show at Revolution
Joe I want my rematch for TNT CHAMPIONSHIP at revolution
Jr the perfect person to talk to
A E W IS AWESOME !!
Wardlow could do movie trailer narration
Great segment and needed i think for him
I'm hearing that AEW doesn't have any stories. That guy's just fight jus because Wrestling. No, there is story and narrative. You jus gotta watch
i love this

Joe is the King of TV...
Wardlow is coming for you Joe
Alright, Wardlow.
I love Wardlow more now
Wardlow was so over with his powerbomb symphony. Then Here goes Tony K again killing the push. Smh.
I wonder why storylines have to be personal or some parts of them stem from personal aspects of wrestlers lives. Is that the only way they can be interesting and get fans invested?
We heard the words waiting for action
I want that sound bite of you will not survive me to be his new catchphrase way better then wardlows world put that on a T-shirt Tony
