The cables at the bottom are usually for cable TV or phones, so low voltage.
You’re correct. Those two lower cables are low voltage (cable/internet). Except in very rural areas, your power lines are in sets of three, and are attached to insulators on the poles.
Yup, a good rule of thumb is that Electric/power lines are at the top, phone lines in the middle and cable/internet at the bottom. Generally lowest voltage at the bottom and highest at the top.
Good job fixing the kitchen clock after so many years of not working. LOL
😂😂😂
That line is fiber. When it get hot it stretches' so it will sag. Fiber has a 5 year life in the southeast if it is hanging off a telephone post. If it is underground it has a 20+ year life and is easy to replace. I did that in a previous life.
I run HotShot with a 35' trailer. My brake even is $1.19 a mile with 1300 miles per month. I don't roll unless I get $2 a mile plus backhaul. I know my worth.
Your videos are awesome, as a former trucker it like being back in the seat with the super 18 KW 2000. Also, fyi tomorrows fly over that the SuperBowl willbe be first time ever all ladies in the jets.
Right on!
Oh no might crash
That wasn’t a power line. It is a cable tv or phone line. No high voltage involved.
Similar situation happen to me in McDonough GA, waited a hour they told me they couldn't find matching pickup numbers so they eventually made new pickup number. It was a CH Robinson load
Power line are up top. next is telephone lines next is cable company. This from top to bottom. I use to install tell[phone lines.
I did my first Uber ride today. I worked about 6 hrs and made $252 I used about 20-25 bucks in gas ⛽️. Not bad for my first shift 😊. This is perfect when my Truck and Trailer is parked up! Thanks for the idea Justin!
Sending some love from California and wishing yall a great day. I hope rates come up soon for everyone and gas comes down. 6.79 for diesel in Pleasanton yesterday its getting nuts. This government needs to stop stealing from our family's 😂👊🙏😎
Those freight rates are insane. $1.26 per mile, does any one take those loads. I'm not a trucker but just spit balling some numbers like at least $.50 for fuel, your labor at least $25 an hour including load and unload dead times and dead heading time (perhaps 50 cents a mile), a wild guess at maintenance of $.20 a mile, insurance at $.15 a mile, depreciation of $.10 a mile. You would have to write them a check to take those loads. You would go broke staying at home a lot slower than you would taking those loads.
It’s bad for sure right now
This is Joe Bidens america at the moment. Vote this pos out next time. Say what you want about trump but times were good then. They suck in every way now. Inflation is whats screwing trucking.
@@JustTruckin I’m a truck driver in Australia have had my hc for 3 years now hc is what you drive haha
@@JustTruckin Hey, Do you have have an email, Facebook or some way for me to contact you. I have plans for something that you may be interest in doing a video about.
Dryer might be fixable, might be worth a look.
Good videos man. Your a good guy. Doing what it takes to provide for your family which I admire in this day and age. Keep doing what your doing. 👍🏻
I saw that 787 load requirement the other day. The only way you can get anything close to that is be a larger contract carrier with them. A decent Coyote load only hits the board in ATL once a month or so.
You should never fill up or even get Gas when a Truck is unloading Gas or Diesel because it stirs all the sentiments from the bottom of the Tanks even with the Fuel Filters it still allows Fine Particulates to flow into your Fuel tank and Can Plug the Filters on your Escalate.
Correct me if I'm wrong but the lower lines are usually telephone or cable lines
The eye roll was a great start to the video
Those lower lines are communications - phone/cable, The highest wires are the dangerous wires.
A great way to finish the week and hopefully next week will bring better results in the delivery service your providing!!!! Have a great weekend and I’ll see you tomorrow for super bowl Sunday!!!!!
Thank you Henry
@@JustTruckin can you share a link to find y'all's lake house on VRBO
Just an FYI about the toll road. It is $1.75 for the whole road not per mile. Also if Uber sends you that direction they will put the toll back in your payment. I love the toll road saves so much time. You can get a Pal Pass and not have to stop.
Keep up the amazing and hard work and wonderful family friendly content Justin. Much love to you and your family. One of the very few truckin channels I’ve grown to enjoy
Hey Justin the most common problem w a dryer making noise is the idler pulley bearing going out that the belt goes around just like a car engine, simple fix many videos on Utube, I have replaced 3 of them before.
That trip radar is the same as your load board. Only difference is you can’t bid. Take it or leave it..whoever’s the hungriest will take it. It’s called the “Race to the bottom”.
Pretty much
I've had a car service for 20 years. The best vehicle for that kind of work is the Honda Odyssey. Even with the 3rd seat up, you have room for luggage. Have had 4 & have driven over 450,000 on each. Rear seats configure to what's best for you & clients. Check them out. Black on black is classy.
lower lines are communication or cable tv lines your high power lines are at the top of the pole
That line was low voltage, probably cable TV or Phone, no danger to the driver. Great video, enjoy watching. I really like your drone footage. Thanks for sharing.
There’s a vacant lot nearby where I turn off to get to my house. There’s usually a tractor trailer truck for sale there. They were 5 of them yesterday for sale by owner, hang in there.
That shipper giving you a load of something, just not the product you came for lmao :D
The problems you mentioned about customer closed, pickup number not working are constant issues in trucking. The driver is the only one that gets burned with these issues. I have never heard of any dispatcher getting fired or even disciplined for these constant mistakes.
And these big companies wonder why they can’t keep drivers.
Lowest lines are cable Tv and communication. Wouldn’t be enough to do damage
Trip radars have been a god send here in Chicago. They typically pay 1.5 - 2 x’s uber x. Pay attention to what the trip is paying and for how many miles it is, you’ll see what I’m saying. Btw can you tell me what kind of stand you’re using for your ipad? I’d like to use mine but haven’t found a quality stand for it.
That was probably a phone line
That wasn’t a power line it was I telephone lane fyi power lines never that low anywhere in the country
That was actually a cable line no danger just don't want to rip it down lol!
mini van seems like it should be good for uber...lots of room...good on gas and cheap to maintain.
Love the Sing Along Uber Concerts 👍🏽 Go DJ that’s my DJ.. DJ Justin🎉
Lol 😂
Its Duke from Anaheim, I love your Uber videos and your side stories. I learned to drive for free in ROP back in 1975 where we would drive around Anaheim and Disneyland area w 3 students in the sleeper of a GMC Astro 95 at night and do long trips on saturday mornings, one time another instructor had his students going up I-15 north up the Cajon Pass and instructor didnt tell student to stop at weigh station because he was napping and CHP came after them for bypassing the weigh station.
Lowest lines on poles are telephone then cable and power is at top
You need to see if Semi Casual in crossville Tennessee can get you those sleeper panels and lights for the KW.
Luckily it’s Cable and not power.
bad you can't get compensated because they don't have their crap together
Good for you, ower rates for gas is 3.99 for regular right now.
The lower big black wires are cable and phones line’s
Those are low voltage lines. High tension power lines are at the top of all poles.
The wires that are that low are nearly 100% of the time; twisted pair, fibre or cable TV and not power, but no one wants to cut a 50,000 line TELCO assembly, a fibre line or even a 500 line assembly!
There are two sides of gas stations, locally I buy from Costco, saving 12 cents per litre (quart). But when traveling I prefer those little mom and pop stations who are busy that have one or 2 pumps usually with only regular gas. I used to have a long F250, 5.8l, 4X4, extended cab, long box, class V hitch, 2 tanks with 85l front 65l rear, both tanks of crapy Irving gasoline with microlene brought me about 300km (180mi) on interstate class highways to Calais, ME. Then filled in a single pump (87 octane) mom and pop station (likely no additives) the next fill was just south of Atlantic City, NJ, 1070km (663 mi) 92% of spec milage! I went to DC, Ohio, and explored KY, TN WV, MD. Another Mom and pop station in NJ off the I95 got similar milage, but a Marathon in Western KY got poor milage about one third the other two fills, then I got filled at a small station and made it from NJ back to Calais, ME, where I filled at a little station, and went home! My suspicion is that the little stations had pure fuel and did not add treehugger additives! A few gallons of additives cost as much as fill of the pure gas and who wouldn't cheat on worthless additives. I wish we calculated CO², CO, NOx and SOx by distance driven like Europe, Japan, Aus and Kiwi areas, not by fuel burned (USA, Mexico & Canada) because our auto industry would strive to have lower emmissions per distance. Europe has different motors and different additives that provide far better milage!
Before you replace your dryer check to see if the berrings are replacable and are there options for better ones! Our Matag had plastic berrings that wore out durring warrenty but I found steel cartrage roller berrings in a steel mount that fit and are working perfectly 15 years later!
I wonder if there is any way to get around music strikes, by joining a national/international music licencing organization. My thoughts that there may be affordable options similar to SOCAN's DJ licence where they can play anything without limits or extra fees! All they must do is to send in play lists, that is it, plus that can help them know their own stats!
Great that you don't have all your eggs in one basket. Not depending on one check, one company, one outlet, is smart and good for your mind.
you could weekly rent cars thru Uber or Turo ( probably cheaper with insurance included up to 200 miles a day or pay a little extra for more miles). i'd sell the escalade and buy a new Toyota Highlander hybrid, if you need bigger try the Sequoia hybrid or wait for the Grand Highlander
Good video & see you in the live tomorrow have a good Saturday night!
Thanks! You too!
What is GOAL - baby don't hurt me any more..... W9!
Ohhhh Good u have A pick up in Big Truck
Why replace the dryer?? Why not just fix the belt and the pulley's?
Power lines are way up top, those are cable and telephone that the truck got hung up on.
Nice Brantley Gilbert. Justin was wondering should I keep all my gas receipts for taxes because I Uber
Check with Walmart I saw an OO pulling a Walmart trailer. One close in Laurens. There are other companies around you to contract directly with
Add a motor mirror on passenger side,it helps.
Hope you are using upside….little change in your pocket is way better then left on the table
Always enjoy your videos brother. Hope you are able to get ya some good loads. Have you thought about local dump trailer hauls? Around my area there is usually plenty of work for them on daily runs and make descent money. God Bless ol buddy and Keep On Keepin On.....
Great idea 😎🙏🏽
Lower line is cable/phone service.
🤔😑😂
Supply Chain? Looks like it works more by accident than on purpose. What a cluster!
Hey hey brother watched the live one pallet praying for y'all 🙏
That wasn't a power line, it was communications cables. The top three are high voltage, next single wire is the neutral [ ground]. Next two [ if there ] would be 120 volt, single phase, each. Twenty years of chasing Hydro trucks in NS Canada. Snagged communication wires can pull the pole down, then it gets scary
Love your videos man! Looking into getting my cdl as well! Any tips ?
Get in with a local trade school or city college
Welcome to corporate America. Even if you are not part of a corporation, it is effecting your life. I'm on the other end of this ( I accept and sometimes ship LTL freight) for my small business. I used to know and could call the local trucking terminal to determine where a load was or when it would be picked-up. I now can only talk with brokers and national call centers that have no-clue what is going-on. It has caused me grief and some truckers have arrived when no-one is there. This is not progress.
When I was doing Uber I had a customer order an uber to move items from his old house to his new house. The ride was $50 and he gave me $60 in tips for making the trip
@Justruckin Someone is trying to scam your follower
if companies are paying less for transport....why are prices going up?
The gutters are probably Copper...they patina to a green over the years. And yes..expensive.
Thanks Justin for another great video of my friend we always watch you💯👍
You should get a 4-channel DVR camera system for your next Uber car
One pallet. Buy a small trailer and tow it up with your pickup.
I like these Uber shows...☺
That was cable TV trunk line
1250 and 150 is 1400 not 1350. Hope your Super Bowl team wins. Great little family.
Hello 👋 hope you have a great weekend
You too Michael
How does Uber work. If there’s one person that needs a ride of course you only charge for one person. If u have 6 people how do u charge for that many.
I bought that Morgan Wollen Song on your recommendation. It is really good.
😎🙏🏽
Sound like your idler bearings on the drum have given out. Not a bad job to do. Just have to take the drum out. Should not be a problem with your skill set.
FYI, the wires at the bottom have no danger, higher up they become more dangerous.
Thank you
I transport trucks and buses--I've been picking up New Peterbuilts from Exit 60 Pete store. Taking them to Charlotte for APU'S I'm real familiar with area your in Keep an Eye out for New Blue Pete's rolling by
Justin , Dont let you kids eat those Lucky Charms Cereal. READ the INGREDIENTS ! There is stuff in there that should not be eaten ! Also When I needed a NEW Cloths Dryer , I checked around and Bought my Dryer from AMAZON ! Delivered and installed in my house , EASY PEASY Brau ! BTW This Is MIke Johnston an out of work driver. Sams hot dogs are so good. 1.58 for a large drink and a hotdog. The pizza is good as well but to greasy.
Trucking delivery days go comes
That power lines. The lower lines are telephone, cable, and fiber lines.
Thank you
That would be a Scotsman wearing his kilt.
Becareful going to Ktown, heard there is ice up the mountains.
I read somewhere that you should avoid filling up with gas at a station when a tanker is dumping fuel in the ground due to sediment sloshing around and getting pumped into your tank.
All gas pumps have filters. There is absolutely no risk to getting gas or diesel when they are getting a delivery.
So you would take it for 1,850 but not 1,800 ? The 50 bucks wouldnt be worth not running i guess
Really should be $2000 minimum for Saturday delivery
Have you attempted to repair the drier
grease the barring on the dryer, it wont make anymore noise
I just picked up at Thats place the other day chempak
Those are just cable/communication lines not power!
Awwww
Those lower lines are telephone or cable, not power
Hey Brother, Go visit Jeff Lynch over on Roper Mt. road in GVL for a dryer. They are by far the best people in the upstate to deal with.
Those bottom lines looked like telecommunications/cable I think the ACDC was up top. Justin are you near the low country where the Alex Murdaugh trial is happening. The whole world is watching that.
Your dryer probably just needs grease on the drum.
Cut out the middle man on your loads and don’t haul any cheap Freight, Maybe haul some refrigerated products. Think about it?
First truck pickup. You wonder who ordered a truck to pickup and the whole thing was no body knew anything. Major incompetence. Amazing how much driver and truck time is wasted with these long wait times.
The overloaded uber pickup, that could have cost you a lot because they would ticket the driver (you) for every one not having a seat belt if you got pulled over.
I'll be in Knoxville Monday too. Be at UT hospital.
Ever thought about Uber Black . That would be more $$$ right ?
I always thought that "truck driving" was something I'd wanna do in my retirement...just for kicks, ...I'm gunna just retire to Florida...and watch your You-tube channel.....
2.79 would be nice. I live close to daytona beach fl. Gas here is 3.49
im always wishing you luck praying for yah and sending out positive energy your way my dude..keep on trucking
