ECMO (Extracorporeal membrane oxygenation)

ECMO is an acronym, which stands for Extracorporeal Membrane Oxygenation. It represents a technique, which is able to support patients with refractory respiratory failure or a cardiac failure. In essention it temporarily replaces pulmonary and/or cardiac function. In this webinar we will discuss the different types of ECMO, the HEMS teams, ECMO used in a setting of cardiac resuscitation, VA ECMO for cardiac failure and precise ECLS.
