- What a dream come true ! My first ever game live at the racecourse to watch Wrexham AFC vs Colchester . Everyone I met was super nice , and super helpful , the energy in the racecourse was amazing ! It was so nice to meet other Americans there , as well as so many locals .

as a Walsall fan (another league 2 team) it still seems crazy that people are travelling across continents to watch league 2 matchdays, what Ryan and Rob have done for Wrexham is absolutely amazing. Hope you enjoyed the match
Us locals still can’t believe it, when you call in the club shop in the week it’s unbelievable busy with all sorts of accents. People are buying up the houses around the ground to turn into Airb&b’s. Yet the university is next door but there’s more money renting to visitors for a weekend than renting to students for a month.
As a Chesterfield Fan not only were up against Notts County Wrexham but Bloody Hollywood as well ! We didn't stand a chance. I've enlisted Harry Potter this Season.

I’d stay in the Premier inn Wrexham as it’s across the road from the stadium. Great price and always clean.
Make sure to add Chester to your itinerary. You can get the train across the road and takes about 20 minutes.
Lots of Roman history there with great restaurants, bars and a beautiful cathedral.

I emigrated to Australia 40 years ago, I used to go to most of the games back in the 70's, home and away. I can see the house I was born in when they put the drone shots up above the stadium.
Wrexham is my hometown and been supporting them since 1974. Well done for making the long trip. Glad you enjoyed the game and Wrexham people made you welcome. It should be a great season and hopefully we get a good FA cup run and promotion.
You can get a train direct to Wrexham via West Kirby from Liverpool. Wrexham is my home town (Mum still lives there). I used to sell programmes at the Racecourse as a kid and stood on the old Kop.

You could've stayed on train to West kirby change train at Bidston then a straight run to Wrexham
I was actually on that train from Chester to Wrexham,won hospitality tickets,met Ryan too so all in all a great day,the Colchester fans dressed as Santas were hilarious on the train. Easy mistake to make at lime street,I've ended up on the wrong train before now 😂 great to see your love for the club and much respect

they keep 75 specifically for international fans, you have to join the "international Dragon" membership though first which gives you priority access to those tickets

I was planning this trip for awhile but I didn’t get the tickets until til I was at Chester train station just refreshing the dang ticket app
@@codenamenelI did get that membership however I missed I guess my opportunity to buy it during that window , but the membership did give me access to sign in and buy a ticket while I was in Chester

Yeah towards the end of the match they announced the last train to Chester was at I believe 17:25 , and I was so scared I was gonna miss it
