Dorking have done amazing this season. I think most of us at Wrexham have a soft spot for Dorking as they epitomise what sport is all about. This is a tough league and to come up and more than hold their own in their first ever season here is a great achievement. I can see them sneaking a playoff spot before too long.

It is two examples of owners that have a great mindset and something that mean good luck is more likely to happen to them, because people do notice these things, not all people but it’s usually the decent ones. So when you least expect it, nice things happen because someone out there just thinks, you know, that guy who did that nice thing, I’ve noticed he’s had a problem with x and I know a person who can help, I’ll call my friend… Random shit like that. So it’s always nice to see things like this happen, tells me a bit about the types of people running Dorking & Wrexham. 28:57 Don’t say anything. But Mullin was the season before League 2 top scorer. Not last seasons League 1 top scorer. I can see how that mistake happened. Cambridge Utd are in League 1, but his goals helped them to promotion the year before, then Wrexham signed him, when he had a choice between playing for Cambridge in their 1st season back in League 1 or going to the National League.

It is not only about wrexham it might be about the stpries of every team. Cant wait for season 2 then. With wrexham promoted to efl they still helped national league teams.
I wouldn't doubt that's exactly what they're going for, the biggest problem for the lower leagues is exposure they have almost none Meanwhile you go anywhere else in europe the lower leagues get a good amount of exposure locally and stay up pretty much indefinitely as long as they don't bungle their finances.

I wear similar jeans to marc a load of sailsbury fans started shouting you got your wife's jeans on n I shouted back nah mate I have your mum's jeans on as they was definitely under 21. Fascinating to see the 2 very different approaches to documenting football. The Wrexham team are looking to make a story/narrative of it with a big team that fell down and are rising back up. Whereas BoA are making an effort to record what actually happens in a non-league club. You'd got to say you feel closer to Dorking because there's no cherry-picking and no pressure to try and create a story.
