A few thoughts I also watch a bit of Hashtag United and wonder whether their Jermaine Francis could make the step up to National League. He’s got the bang right kind of attitude for Dorking and looks an excellent prospect and probably would be good value too. Torquay relegation I said in the first encounter with that they need to stop thinking they’re still an EFL team. Their relegation vindicated my point. It’s that kind of “we’re above all of this” mentality that gets you relegated from the league you’re in. There’s kind of an opposite mentality at Dorking which is more balanced, which is a big part of the reason a team that in terms of being part-time and it’s history are playing above their level, but success is built by being able to recognise where you are and keep improving things to take the next step forward. I’m tempted to predict Dorking finish close to the play-offs next season purely based on my confidence in having the right attitude from top to bottom at Dorking. As a Bradford City fan I’ve seen both sides of the coin happen at our club and good things have happened when the overall club mentality is right and bad when it’s been more like it seems at Torquay. As for this match. Think even at 2-1 up against Barnet a worse case scenario of only ending up with a point would have been a good result anyway. But it never feels like that when it’s injury time and you’re 2-1 up. 😂 with hindsight a point would have been enough, but a win always gives that confidence you can beat most teams if you work hard. So you never quite know if this had ended in a draw, whether the season would have gone the way it did.
See them all the time lad 😂if he didn’t get knocked unconscious it wouldn’t be spoke about. Yellow card for lack of care for the player that was fouled but that’s it. You’ll see a player going for a header and going over someone’s head multiple times in a game. Marc needs a dummy in his mouth to shut him up
