- Weymouth F.C. are struggling down at the foot of the National League South table as they welcome Dorking Wanderers to the south west coast. Marc White's side are in decent form, and apart from the Boxing Day drama against Worthing, they're recent results show they are in fine form.
And yet, injuries and suspension mean Marc has to consider a team without his trademark flying wingers...

Great to see where Dorking are in the league now (won’t say where due to potential spoilers), but it’s good everyone will have figured that out.
2 things. Spirit of team is clearly high. Turning going behind into wins is always a good sign.
Other is about what I didn’t learn as a child playing football and the first half run where player beats a few players before being brought down.
I used to play on the wing at school level and sometimes centre mid. And liked going on little runs like that. But as I got older I didn’t do it anymore. Because to me it was just better to pass it because I’m in most cases going to end up losing the ball.
At no point ever did a coach tell me that the aim of the run is to get you further up the pitch and win a free kick. Had I known that nugget of info i might have been a better footballer.
It’s kind of like the Rugby League background football has (up north at least). Aim of the game is not just to score but to get the team closer to the goal. Although if I recall correctly I rarely got the decision when I was brought down, so it might have been the times or maybe I didn’t always make it obvious I’d been fouled. Either way, it’d have been handy to have been told from an early age.

Keepers going down faking injury under instruction from the manager, so they can do a tactical team talk needs to be clamped down on, it's a joke.
Spot on and it's embarrassing that Mark does it! I suspect this happens all the time up and down the pyramid but the FA needs to clamp down. Unfortunately football has become a game full of cheating and gamesmanship - just take the second Weymouth goal!
@ too right, even the staying down when fouled trying to con the ref into thinking it’s worse than it is so the other play gets a booking or worse. Camp did that exact thing in this video, from someone who takes part in combat sports it is truely pathetic the way they go down coz someone’s forearm brushed their nose 😂
It’s the FA fault, if a play receives any treatment now they have to go off for 30 seconds before coming back on unless it’s the GK.

Done a nighshift and got straight on the couch with the players and thought get a bit of sleep..no the players had inbetweeners all the way down lol won and went straight to work when got home!

Is it the editing that makes the refs look terrible and against Dorking every week? It's not an easy job but each episode there seems to be awful mistakes.
I mean when you have players punching the ball into the net for a goal and elbowing people in the face and not getting sent off it can't only be the editing.
Just the level of ref's in the english game, its shite from the prem all the way to grass roots
Non league football! Even if Prem fans watched EFL every week they’d see the lack of quality
It’s a bit of a shame that good refereeing is not something we can highlight. If we were allowed to interview them or mic them up it would help!
