    i use gp-5 because its easy to don and it does not use head straps and a nice gasmask / resperator he only downside is that the lens are hard to replace multiple times or once

      @@cbrnacademyDrop the video with gas mask filters which contain hazardous materials (ex. Chromium, asbestos and others.) [Theres a chart with them on Google]

    Great video! Is it a good idea to buy a hood similar to the s-10 flash hood to try to minimize damage to the facepiece?

    • @cbrnacademy
      @cbrnacademy  11 месяцев назад

      Indirectly I explained it in the video. The only thing you can effectively protect is the lenses. For example, a shrapnel flying in high velocity that ruptures the facepiece is something you can do nothing about. 🙃

      @@cbrnacademy ah alright, it’d be cool if you made a video on wearing a helmet with a gas mask and wearing ballistic visors with them

      @@INSVRGENT That's completely out of scope of this channel. BUT, I will surely showcase my tacticool setup at some point 😎

    We can get a film abt haz suits? from isolation overalls coats to filtration suits and gas suits, their weight, properties and levels of protecting.

      What a humble request! 😁We plan to make a comparative video on the subject anyway, so yeah, it's coming in the near future.

    What you recommend a very light and compact haz suit? to be more precise, I need it for light infantry tasks

    • @cbrnacademy
      @cbrnacademy  11 месяцев назад +1

      Most of the suits I have are either charcoal lined CBRN suits or heavy duty rubber ones, each intended for specific situations. None of them are compact however. For this reason many armed forces still use these "chemical raincoats" (JP-75, JP-90) since they don't take up much space and are easily deployable.
