I lived in Brooklyn for 15 years from 1994. Massively involved in music. Put on the first hip hop night in Williamsburg on a Sunday at a bar called The Abbey. Somehow, I never learnt of Doom until the day he died. I feel dumb for missing him. But curiously grateful that a gift was left for me to discover. And reinvigorated from beyond the grave. Thank you, Doom. And the beat boy that created this mix.
