How would be the script in Unity or Godot to walk with the left stick and rotate the Torso with the right stick. Should the legs and torso be separated in Unity/ Godot and also the armature or all stay together?
You could also watch a tutorial on IK, inverse kinematics. But you would only need this in case you want to have a flexible deformation with a humanoid. For mechs it's probably best to keep the parts separate. Then you can also "destroy" them by replacing them with a "destroyed" part (like a stubby arm or something, thinking of something like earthsiege 2 where they used a partially see through texture, too).
The part on the lower leg securing the lower piston looked a bit strange rotating around with the piston... it should be fastened to the lower leg. When you were assigning the parts to the bones (both times) you first assign this part to the lower leg bone and afterwards to the lower piston bone... but apart from that great video as always!
Love it! Could you please confirm for me that this wouldn’t be ideal game asset? You would delete the faces you don’t see from inside, right? Also, how would you transfer it to unity? Would you be baking the colors? Noob questions 😊
😍😍
i feel like ive learned alot just from you speaking the actual shortcuts and what they do. saved me a lot of time. Love these videos, Thanks a Mill
I've watched enough of these with my son that whenever I'm in blender and he walks past me he chants "E to extrude, S to scale"
Great Work 👏

If you want separate control, it’s best to have separate parts

Hi. Why are you using version 4.0.1 and not LTS 4.2 or 3.6?
