Great vid. Fantastic music at 5:40!
Thanks
Cool!
Thanks for this video.
You're welcome
Hi man great video, I’ve recently got more into the pedal side of the guitar and was wondering if you recommend this for a beginner new to pedals?
Welcome. Yes I recommended great power for your pedals. You won’t look back. Better and more consistent sound as well. It’s rock solid. It’s been turned on constantly for a year with no issues. Consider subscribing. Hope that helps.
Hey thanks for the vid ! How is the box powered? It needs an external power supply, right? If so is it heavy ?
Thank you for your help!
It has a standard iec type cord. Just change that to change voltage to whatever country you are in. It is remarkably light.
Hey Ken, quick question: at 0:50 there is nice clean guitar tone. Is it double-tracked clean guitar with chorus on each channel? What kind of chorus you used there? Thanks!
Yea, double tracked. I actually show exactly what that tone is on the Uberschall twin jet video I just released a few days ago.
@@kenjacobsenmusic Cool, thank you!
Hope that helps
@@apostolicway2604 Nope. You record the same thing two times as accurate as possible, then pan first recording into the left channel, and the second into the right channel. Since there are micro nuances in both takes, it will create an effect of massive sound, which is the purpose of double-tracks. If you simply copy and paste the same track, it will be the same mono track, just a little louder, so it will not help you anyhow.
Universal Audio chorus and double tracked
I need 12v 500 mA for my Two Notes Le Crunch . Can I use the 12v 1 amp expansion jack to power it if I don't daisy chain anything else with it?
Yea, that shouldn’t be a problem. Good luck.
Excuse me, sorry to bother, but what brackets and mounting kit do you use for the Voodoo Lab 3 Plus?
I’m using the Voodoolab pedalboard and the mounting kit comes with the package. Hope that helps. Please subscribe
@@kenjacobsenmusic Thanks alot 🙏 Definitely will subscribe 👍🏻
Does the power supply get hot? My pedal power 3 gets super hot and so do my pedals. Thinking about switching to strymon zuma.
Don’t have that problem. Maybe some is shorting?
It shouldn’t be hot. It might get warm, but it should not be hot, and it also shouldn’t make your pedals hot. I would get it replaced under warranty, sounds like you have a defective unit
How to use that red-black cable? Could you please give us an example. I still don’t understand it
I believe it a phase reversal
I own 5 power supply including a Pedal Power2 + . After approximately a year of extremely light use it just stopped working.I'll stick to Cioks.
Bummer. Let me know how that works out
What are the dimensions of unit? Will it fit into a 4x8 inch compartment?
Dimensions: 7"W x 3.4"L x 1.5"H
@@kenjacobsenmusic thank you!
Can I power a DL4 Line 6 with the 3 plus ?
I think so. But I didn’t try it
can it power HX stomp which has higher 2A?
I don’t think so. Get the high power version.
I can't guarantee it'll work for you, but I'm powering an HX Effects just fine with mine. You do need a current doubler cable, (that's CURRENT doubler, not VOLTAGE) though, and it takes 2 outputs
So they're finally out then lol
Well, this one is one of the first 50 made
