Regarding the performance, advance the cam timing by 1 tooth towards the front of the car . Put a switch on the vtec solonoid to be permanently open .oil pressure will engage the lift around 4-5k rpm provided you have the solonoid permanently open and your oil is on the full mark on the dipstick.did this with a (po8) sohc vtec head hopefully it works with the one you have .
Man i unfortunately have the vtec solenoid without the oil pressure switch that too on the non jdm ecu,is functioning but no vtec kick,what to do?
Had a d15b vtec good coulle of years ago and oneday i sent it off to a mechanic who did my oil change. He then told me about the vanos and connected and it felt way more alive. Connected a little button and it would basically engage the vtec from the time you have the button pressed in. Engine is strong for a 1.5. this vid brought back some good memories. Looking forward to the next updates.

Yo Shane specs D15B VTEC - the analog on injection D15B with VTEC, compression ratio now is 9.3, the power is 130 hp. Produced from 1992 to 1998. Since 1995 the engine has 3-Stage VTEC.

Was the old rear Honda logo originally from the EK9?
The newish logo looks far better than the old one, but rather keep the old one in store if the old badge is indeed original.
If you run vtec from the battery it actually makes the car weeker in power because you telling you valves to pull in more air but you don’t have the fuel and ignition map to correspond with that air making your car sluggish
I know from experience
I have a d15z4 with a d16y8(vtec) head conversation ran through the battery
I only engage my vtec to at idle sometimes to make the people think i got a cam in lol but im planning on going management

Slmz yall.i see questions about connecting up the vtec etc.There are getto ways of doing things and then theres the right way. Either go std dictator and have management bring on the vtec at a set rpm blah blah blah or hit up Herman at "H-tuned" . He sorted me with uni q and i-drive plus tune. Safe , reliable and performance garanteed. I was shocked at the final torque figure..but see for urself😶

Your timing is out pal hence why it's limiting so soon that should be a simple quick fix for you and that thingy you referring to on the throttle is called a throttle butterfly

Where can I get that long k&n filter I currently got the short one does the long one make a sound difference between the short and long one?
short or smaller filter just sound like oem style high flow filter , its give you better throttle response in low rpm like under 4-5 k
