cheesing at the start 😂. had me talking to my acreen tryna help. the blood stains as you figured out, tell you how ppl before you died. the yellow marks lead you to the next main quest.

I'm glad you weren't like some people and just dropped the game after the first 2 deaths. If you've never played these games it's a learning curve, I was the same when this game came out. Just take your time, explore and get to understand the mechanics and how it all works. Items and weapons are gathered as you find them.
