I don't know if this tribute says more about Plant's exquisite taste in music or the reach & influence the brilliance of a largely unknown band have but either way, I love it. RIP Mimi, your passing hit me like a ton of bricks and my prayers for strength go out to Alan and your children.
Thanks for posting. Great tribute to Mimi from Robert. Alan and Mimi were my neighbors in Duluth. I recorded a concert by Alan’s previous band, Zen Identity, back in 1991. R.I.P. Mimi
A band I was in once opened for Low in Duluth in the early 90s (I think 93 or 94, shortly after they formed in 93). There was quite a buzz about them and following already at that time, though I was young and more into Bonham and Peart, and I couldn't yet appreciate this young lady standing and leisurely playing a single drum and cymbal... goodness, she didn't even have a pedal. Crazy how this came full circle with Bonham's mate paying tribute. RIP, Mimi.
that is a thing so respectfull and see it from a rock god like Robert Plant. I thought this thing made Alan a bit feel little good; this is good, this is so kind; thanks Robert Plant.

Highly recommended, absolutely stunning band. Trust, Drums & Guns and The Great Destroyer (the album this song, Monkey, is from) are some of my favourites. The last album, Hey What is superb. Oh and they recorded the most beautiful Christmas album you'll ever hear in Low - Christmas ❤️

I would say a dash of this and a pinch of that. Either way, it's awesome that it happened.
they pretty well known
He did this cover years ago he even put it on one of his albums.
Such a huge loss but lets give thanks for her life and the beautiful gifts Mimi left for us. RIP. Big love to Alan and their children.
Great to see Low and Mimi respected by greats that came before them. RIP Mimi and thank you for the music.

Low, Paradiso Amsterdam, somewhere in the early 2000s, the most beautiful concert I've ever been to. what a loss.

Brilliant song, brilliant tribute
RIP Mimi. A nice tribute.
Just love the eerie slide guitar. Haunting song in a good way. Very soulful.
💯%.. I couldn't agree more with you! The Slide on this is ABSOLUTELY Incredible! The sound of my heart!
My favorite part...
Very nice dedication. Mimi had such a beautiful soprano voice and was critical to the success of Low.
Rest in peace Mimi, music knows no seniority - it unites souls and heals wounds of those, who still are here to live.
May her soul Rest In Peace! What a nice tribute!
Beautiful tribute by Robert & Friends. So nice to see how far & wide Low touched lives. ❤
I didn't know of Mimi's passing. So sad. Their song "Shame" opened a world to me.
It's been a year since she's gone and I am still listening

Yeah it was great staring at the screen of your phone.
"SAVING GRACE PAY TRIBUTE TO MIMI PARKER!!" , there , I fixed the broken title for you .
maybe?
Is he maybe on the side against US?
Nice 11 graves lol
Never heard of the band
Now's your chance to fix that.
Fix that. They were active for 30 years and made 13 albums and a few EPs. One of the most distinctive indie bands of the past decades.

He was the singer in a band called Led Zeppelin, pretty seminal blues-influenced hard rock band.
And pioneers of the slow core genre .
Brilliant song, brilliant tribute
