If you want to map onto a curved surface you should use the Bezier setting - better than just adding more linear points. Moreover, you don't have to chop up the composition to feed each slice. You can send an entire layer to a specific slice.
You should totally give Dmx over USB a go recently did it for battle of the bands at school and looked great. I used the das-light software/hardware package and the effects it was capable of was amazing. Anyway great vid joe :D
So im going to use yours as an example. Do you have any idea how to project 1 series image on the rectangles you had cut out and another different series of images on the gaps in between.
Hi bro, Great thanks for your tutorial video. I have a problem to show my output to LED wall. Is it possible if I use this " advance output " for LED displays ?
What can be done about the issue where the advanced output makes your projector freak out and stobe. My projector is connected thru HDMI out of my 2012 Mac Mini and works fine if not using the advanced output of Resolume Arena 4
hey, nice tutorial! I would like to place a question if somebody can help me: I wanna project some special characters (swedish letters) and when i input them, they are displayed as " . Is there any way to introduce different alphabets to this program?
never mapped with Resolume, gonna try it tonight, but do the slices correspond with a particular layer? like i want to map essentially 4 squares as individual layers and then have one that projects over the whole area as well...
Hi how do you get your movie footage into the box that you manipulate onto the area you are mapping. New to this so just trying to feel my way. Any help & advice would be appreciated. cheers Alan
Hi Thanks for sharing tutorials. I have question about when the masking has been done how can I use that part in my video? for instance I did mask a cube but in output screen the cube is just in black, i want to add video loop in that. thanks anyway
Hi, do you now any way to extend my only VGA output to use with two proyectors? No like mirrors as does one splitter device. Maybe one option is ussing the VGA and the HDMI outputs, but i'm looking for a solution to use just the VGA output. Thank!
After I created 4 slices and manipulated them how I want them shaped. Do I have to have my projector hooked up to see the effect or can I view it on my laptop. if so how. (I am out of town and do not have my projector.) Im having difficulties with this. Can I pay you teach me via skype for a 1/2 hour
I don't have "output transformation" in my advanced settings. I have the "input selection" tab though. Is this a plugin I need to download? Video card problem? Using Resolume Avenue 4.1 EDIT: does this require "Arena"?
Why do people spend ages keystoning in projecter settings when you can just do this in resolume? One video guy told me you lose pixel definition when you do it through resolume. I thinks thats CAP!

Hi, once you save your crop for example, how do you manage to see it in the output window or even proyecting it?? thanks!
How do I switch between edit points on the keyboard?
Could you maybe get one of those USB dmx lighting things and make a video with them set upto your scanners and a tutorial :)

Hi there, what is the latest software ? can i use this for cake mapping ?
Would you use this same technique for an architectural mapping for example?
Can I put different videos in different slices??? Thanks for the videoo!
Hi Thanks for sharing tutorials.

For a simpler and cost effective solution you can try software like TABULA FaçadeSignage.
