A little advice for the Koh I noor, as they are more powdery, closer to a pastel stick, their pigments( which are actually very rich) are very volatile and won't show on a smooth paper at all. These perform best on pastelmat or pastel paper...you will see the difference. If you compare both pencils on pastelmat you will be surprised ar how well the koh i noor behave next to the fabers :) The Faber Castell have the advantage to work on any paper though..so they are definitely better if you are only using them on colouring books or printing paper

Thank you for this video! It was just what I needed to finally order my first set of Faber Castells. I got into coloring books for adults recently (Worlds within Worlds from Kerry Rosanes) and my cheap pencil set just wasn't doing the images any justice. I'm so excited to see the difference when I get them. Thank you!
Both of them are really good, but if you want to do ab artistic job i will recommend polychromos all the way.

I love your video. I have koh I noor polycolor set of 144 colors pencil and I love them. In Poland we have the dark violet pencil. I wish that you find it also. Thanks for the video.

I never had any problems with KIN. At least mine aren't breaking... both sets are expensive so I would be frustrated too. BTW what number has this purple (180?) In my country u can buy them separetly so If u are really in need I could sent it to,u!
Hi. I see that you have not received so many answers to your question. I know that a lot of producers of colored pencils have problems with getting raw materials now due to the pandemic. Even brands like Caran d’Ache are sold out on certain things, and have problems with restocking. I hope that things will get better soon for everyone. It will help the world economy 😊

I'm sought bought color skin koh i noor but don't know is good or bad.
From my experience, Koh-i-noor is surely good and its pigments are really rich! If you already have Koh-i-noor then you do not need to buy new Faber Castell Polychromos. Thank you for the comment. (:
Faber Castell is better
If You want to do an artistic job, you should choose polychromos.
