Juma Nji If the opponent hits the ball before it bounces off the court (while serving), it’s your point. It’s kinda a dumb rule tbh, considering situations like that can happen especially in doubles, where the ball is obviously going out
I like how both Blake, Ferrero and the umpire all understood the situation and the rules and laughed and moved on. Something that some #nextgen players need to learn.
My favourite is ivanesevic second serve ace facing match point...i was his fan and watched this in absolute horror...at the end ivanesevic won the match...
It doesnt have to. As long as it falls in the opponent's side of the court, it's good. We sometimes see balls going round the net, clearly lower that the net, and still being good :)
@@louisjamin7195 Doesn't necessarily have to go over, but it cannot go through the net and count as a good return. Under Rule 25: "It is a good return if: a. Man Michael Chang, I miss a player like him.
That little V6 engine he was hiding, constantly running after every ball
Michael Chang was unique. Maybe he was not a big star, but he was always a contender.
He is a « disguised V12 ». He only looks like a V6.
Remember the Game vs Lendl, when he had cramps and almost couldn't run. And won...
The fact that Ostapenko didn’t apologise and was laughing about it with her partner makes me think she did it on purpose.
no i dont think so, she has a strange way to serve and sometimes (even in single) in goes 1 m away in the other square (where cornet is standing) lol
She may haven’t done it willingly.... but I don't see any other reason for laughing there at that moment...😅
