  • Introductory intertitle reads: "Whilst our 400,000 Motorcyclists think about the time usually taken to change a belt or a wheel, two experts assemble a complete machine in twenty minutes!"
    M/S of man standing behind a desk with parts of a motorcycle laid out. He wears a white coat and sets a clock. C/U of the hands of two men as they work to put the motorbike together. Shots of the two men assembling the parts are intercut with shots of the clock. The wheels, the chain, the mudguards, the handlebars, etc. are all fixed on to the body of the bike. Clock reads 12.20.
    C/U of the finished bike. L/S of the bike being ridden in heath land to "test" it. Another bike follows behind.

    I think it's a Fanny B too. I'm not sure I would want to own that particular bike. I can't see any brakes!

    Very interesting film. I think this bike is a Francis Barnett, with a Villiers engine.

      It's a Francis Barnett. The clue is their advertising slogan "Built Like a Bridge"........All the frame tubes are straight and bolted together (like a bridge).
