Thabk you for trying out all of these swatches! Your sacrifice will be honored for millenia. 😂 I am storing this video essay in my mind palace of crochet stitches to remember for future projects.
I'm super shocked with how insanely stretchy that swatch was! And it turned out very pretty. I'd love to see a sweater vest made using that stitch.

So I started out as a knitter, and a few months ago I wanted to teach myself to crochet. I watched a RUclips tutorial for the slip stitch with a yarn over (I thought that would be easier since it looks like knit) omg it was so difficult, it turned me off to crochet! Now I know I should’ve definitely started with regular single crochets lol

The new stitch reminds me on the sewing technique smocking so I wonder if doing like some sewn projects such as tops, dresses or skirts with a smocked top would work in crochet depending on the yarn drape 🤔 i tend to prefer slip stitch blo for most things since it tends to go back to shape and somehow more satisying than like sc blo. Hopefully my comment will actually post... I seem to have a problem where my comments dpnt always go through even with good internet. Thank you for another video! ❤
