- This was one of the most fun projects I've done to a car. huge shout out to Vor for trusting me with this install. This was more of a cinematic install video. Not so much a step by step process. This was the Kraftwerks Supercharger Kit made for the 9thgen Civic Si. This install was done entirely in my garage/driveway with nothing but some basic hand tools, impact guns and a jack and jack stands. The inspiration for this video if you couldn't already tell came from Mighty Car Mods. They are what got me into the car scene as well as what motivated me to start making videos so to them I say, thank you! As always thanks to each and every one of you who subscribe and come back to watch my videos. I know it;s been a while since my last upload but don't worry there is so much more to come. I will release an update video in the following days to announce my 100 subscriber giveaway so definitely stay tuned for that!

Thanks bro! I'm thinking about releasing a raw version of the install to explain the steps. I originally wanted to do a voice over but decided against it. Let me know if you all want me to release a "step by step" version of the footage to go over the process and the easiest way I found to go about it.

What was the thing under the rear seat? You took it out and emptied it? Was that something to do with fuel (you tuned it to a diff fuel oct)?
That’s the fuel pump. We removed the stock fuel pump and installed the pump required to support the tune/setup

I’m not sure. We got the kit from a buddy used. It had everything we needed. If you buy the kit new from kraftwerks it should be complete but you may need injectors and a fuel pump. Also a 4bar map sensor

How did you do the GRAMS 1,000 CC install? I’m currently installing the Supercharger and the clips don’t match to the factory fuel rail

Where do you put the power steering pump cuz it looks like it needs to be moved for the supercharger. I was wondering how it's going to fit on my car because the power steering pump is right in the way. Where did you replace yours to or did you just take it off?
what bolt ons did you have on before sc kit and how’s maintenance with it work?
I pretty much had everything. Started with an exhaust, then cai. Then rbc swap and ended on the sc kit. And maintenance was the same as usual

What map from the flash pro did you run on this?
Didn’t have a map. Had an e tune. Your best bet is calling kraftwerks and asking them to email you a basemap. They should send you one no problem but keep in mind that’s only to get your vehicle to the dyno to have it tuned properly

Just do it. Make sure you have time to take it apart and put everything back together like a weekend or something. I was scared too when I started taking shit apart. Eventually tho you just learn 😂

Great work! A few questions: How difficult would you say the install was on a scale of 1-10? How long did it take from start to finish? What was that you took out from under the back seats?
Thank you! And I'm new to working on cars but I've learned quite a few things. The most important one is having the right tools for the job. The process took about 12 hours spread out over 3 days being that we were waiting on miscellaneous parts/tools. And the fuel pump is what was removed from under the back seats. On the set up and tune my buddy had he upgraded to a new fuel pump to work better with his larger injectors. The install wasn't very hard if you've worked on cars before and are familiar with removing the stock intake and intake manifold and are able to relocate the battery. I'm trying to get a step by step guide together for everyone but it's a lot of footage to edit lol.

Nope. That’s for another video 👍🏽 But do you really need a video to show you where the kit goes? If so, I suggest you have your kit put on by someone who knows where to put everything 😂

No you need a relocate tray. I originally had the skunk2 but it rotted out on me and snapped. Go acuity 💪🏽

The install process is very similar yes
Ive never installed supercharger or turbo kit. All my cars have either been a honda or subaru/mazdaspeed and came turbo. In your opinion which is better and which is less maintenance? My Si only sees the road in spring and summer.
When it comes to the Si you hands down will get more power with a turbo but with that (in my opinion) comes a higher possibility of things going wrong wether they be minor or major. Don’t get me wrong I have silly little things happen with my sc kit that left me on the side of the road for an hour pulling things off and replacing shit but with a turbo setup there’s just a larger margin for error if that makes sense. For a good fun reliable daily the kw setup with the 110 pulley and a time for pump gas is alright by me 🤙🏽

I bought it second hand on marketplace for my car. My buddy originally had the kit that we installed on this red civic brand new. You can get them online or check market place. Just be mindful purchasing second hand

We did. Trust me. We ended up having to pull the fuel pump again because an o ring wasn’t seated properly. That clip was just to show initial start. But thanks for the support dude! 😂

I bought the same kit. 2015 si coupe. Kseries should be shipping next week. I'm nervous about installing it but stoked too. I can't find any install instructions online. Any suggestions? I got 1000cc grams injectors, fuel pump, hondata ready to go.
You didn't add the part where you take the tranny mount off for the batt tray, where is the kw oil filter? Left out a whole bunch of stuff.
This was just the "cinematic" edit I did of the install. I have hours of footage I'm going through and will do a step by step explanation of what was done but that is going to take some time to put together and will be a lot lengthier than 7 minutes. Keep an eye on the channel for that video though. Also I stated in the description that this wasn't a step by step guide. Also I have done battery relocate videos and explained the tranny needing support. Feel free to check that video out. I'll update the description with a link to it so all the other people viewing this can check it out. Thanks for the support and feedback though👍
Do you still have AC, fog lights?
Yes. All factory components were kept other than the stock tensioner and idler pulley. Obviously the intake manifold, spark plugs, injectors and fuel pump were replaced but we lost nothing as far as ac or lights or anything else for that matter. Maybe a little fuel efficiency 😂
Did anyone else see coolant spill out of his intake manifold?

Car ran great. I’ve since sold it but the kit went to a buddy of mine and everything has been good for him so far. Definitely the best set up for a fun street car/ daily imo

Why would you show stupid useless clips like tightening the hood latch and for some reason completely skip over installing the actual super charger? This literally makes no sense. Did you think to your self, here's how you make a super charger installation video that will crush it on the views. Step one, show clips removing stock OEM parts. Step two, delete all clips that show any of the actual installation of the super charger kit, asides from the labor intensive process of connecting a pipe to the newly installed intercooler. Step three, profit! No need in showing the stupid stuff, like attaching the custom intake manifold, connecting the new belt assembly, or showing a single bolt being tightened on the new hardware. Great video bro, keep up the insightful content.
Yeah pretty useless video if you don’t have an idea on how to do this to begin with. In which case I wouldn’t recommend just jumping into it. Thanks for the pointers though. I’ll keep that in mind for my next video 👌🏽
