Agreed. Brands should never send any sort of mandate to reviewers about what they want to see in a review - no matter how harmless they think the request is. Reviews have to remain as uncolored as is realistically possible.
If there are functionalities, technologies etc relevant background info I think it's fine to list them and mention why they think they're worth bringing up. Just shouldn't be anything related to quality or value.
I lost my mind in 1st version of video so i redid. I tend to get triggered when folks imply I owe them something. It's all good. Next time I just ignore that file
This is awesome honestly. For the longest time, the budget headphones space hasn't moved whatsoever other than the Moondrop Joker and Fiio JT1, both of which I found underwhelming. This ones an absolute win
Wild set at that price and also wild a company thinks that can mandate anyone's content. Like you said, "out your frickin' mind?!" Keep them honest. I appreciate your ethical stand on the custom driver trend and calling out anyone/company that needs to be called out. Have a wonderful holiday dude.
problem with headphones in this range imho and in my experience is the mileage, more often than not u end up breaking hinges joints pads or something well before the actual audio parts start to wear down so u have to get new set which kinda defies there 1st or 2nd selling point (depending u buying them bcuz they are cheap and sounds great or they sound great and are cheap) being the price
I'm reading some people say these are allegedly rebranded Behringer BH470....? Interesting if true, but they might be tuned differently, but it's tricky to find measurements for the BH470
I think its a popular chasis thats used for many budget headphones. Because the frequency response of bh470 does not look anywhere near this one.(It graphs like cheap BT headphones)
@@wtfgebeurdmij2991 oh yeah definitely not. My guess is they're using the same chassis, and different drivers to help keep costs lower, which isn't a bad way to go imo.
Good callout of the mandate to include what the manufacturer wants in videos. Companies should believe in their products and trust the people they send it out for review.
Nice! Seeing the graph it sure looks like a smooth replay. Thanks for the review and very very appreciate the transparency. Also appreciate that you don't hold back any criticism you have on companies even if you did a collab with them. Your transparency is one of the reasons you've earned my trust.
I'm really hoping these sets are successful. I would love the chi-fi drive improvements in the headphone market by putting pressure on the lower end of the headset market to improve.
Definitely interesting and good to see Kiwi branching out into headphones. Aside from the issues that's a strong rec that has my interest. Thanks HBB, take care and God Bless...
Unfortunately the “mandatory statements” stuff is everywhere. As I was reviewing (in writing perfume), whenever there was a freebie there were clauses 😅Looking forward to the in depth review of these cans
It graphs very similar to my Sony MDR-1AM2 with some minor differences in the upper-mids and upper-treble. For $50 I'm super tempted to buy to see how they would compare.
I had been waiting so long for chi-fi brands to graduate to full size headphones that I saved up and bought a Sennheiser. At least I'm glad cheapskates (like me) in the near future can get cheap audio goodness. I hope this, Moondrop, Thieaudio, FiiO, Zeus etc. are gonna move and shake the chi-fi headphones market as well.
Next year will be the year of chifi headphones. Aune AR5000, Fiio FT1 are already defining their price points and much more to come. When it comes to quality and value Sennheiser, Beyerdynamic and AKG about to become irrelevant to those who know what's what😅
I feel like there'w a trend now with good budget headphones, with a lot a small companies getting in to it too and I'm really excited to see where it goes
The design of the headphones reminds me of the cooler master MH751/752, which was also similar to another headphone IIRC (The Takstar?). The MH751/752 at the time was very much praised because of the sound that was very good for a gaming headset and closer to an "audiophile"-ish sound headphone.
You are one of the mfs that kept me coming back for more iems and now over ears. You helped me alot in figuring out good sets and just have fun in this hobby in general. Ur Linsoul X Hbb Kiluah Collab is for 37$ rn. I'm super hyped to compare them to the ew200's, another set i bought long ago from ur review. Especially cause of the build 💪 Ima get these for myself as i really want a good pair of over ears. They all mostly seem too treble heavy or bass heavy for some reason
I don’t know what it is with headphones but I’ve tried about 30 pairs and I’ve never heard one that I quite liked. Maybe I’m too used to the in your head IEM sound. Thanks for the rec, will look into it!
I don't get review/unboxing channels that talk like a robot about the product and praise it to high heavens.. I always search for a channel that highlights the good, the bad and base their recommendation to facts or personal experience.
Woohoo headphone review something different good job Chris much needed change thank you man and oh saw your Christmas lighting excellent also your little man so sweet he's growing up fast 😂
It somehow felt quite refreshing to see a good review of a pair of headphones here and there with all the IEM content I've been watching lol. Not because I don't want to see them, don't get me wrong. I'm addicted to IEM content lol.
Chris does this slaps hard with lower tier sources like dongles and dac amp fiio k7? If so then its a must by rugged use set. Great vid looking for full review.
I thought IEMs were tuned the way they are in order to compensate for frequency differences due to sitting directly in the ear canal instead of passing through the outer ear. Are there any issues with the sound on these due to that?
This is the video format I like most. The usual bar hovering at the top and bottom.. I find it annoying. Here we have the graph on the screen at all times, amd more screen space. I'd remove the stuff from the top as well tho. Just expressing my personal opinion, ik the other design has already been decided on. Just saying, all that distraction on screen could be brought up closer to the end of the vid, when its actually needed
I'm really looking for a headphones lol. Still haven't made research for it but Koss Porta Pro has been in my radar. This video might make me go for a headphone instead of another IEM.
These look a lot like the Sony MDR M1 set, at least the main chassis set up. But those are almost 250.00 a set. Then again there are a lot of headphones that look like other headphones out there. I'm sticking with my semi Frankenstein-ed set of Realistic Nova 40's from the early 1980's, can't afford anything new at this time anyway.
It is always great to have such a relevation about products you enjoy. I saw this headphones and was in for it. From now on i am more in favour. Have you heard about a KiwiEars Ellipse? It is also a new on thier site.
These sound really exciting, any chance you could tell me the inner measurement of the cups? I have elephant ears and cup size can be a deal breaker for me.
Is it time to buy a pair of headphones? It's so cheap it's tempting Kinda sus about the mandatory requirements, guessing it's a guideline for some newbie reviewers? Idk Thanks for sharing this!
Giveaway item is a special surprise ;)
Exciting 🎉
Can’t wait! 😬
@@kiranp6516
Oh huge can't wait to see what it is when you announce who's won it

What if those mandates are objective? Surely that’s fine?
big fan of when HBB talks about headphones. Makes you feel the set is actually special
Finally a headphone with the audiotechnica build but actually sounds good, for 50$! Im 100% getting these.
This is awesome honestly. For the longest time, the budget headphones space hasn't moved whatsoever other than the Moondrop Joker and Fiio JT1, both of which I found underwhelming. This ones an absolute win
Do you have these headphones? If yes, does the foam touch the ears, or is it totally over the ear? How's the comfort?
Kiwi ears are doing some good work with iem's, now moving into headphones should be exciting to watch
Thank you bro! You and the fam have a great holiday

Thanks for the review and the rant. Made my morning. Have a great Thursday!
And this is why I love this channel no one would have let us in like that and a man of your word Thanks
Luther is one of my new go to songs for checking out headphones. Good pick
Oh...that production by Jack is just epic. beautiful song and composition/mixing
Kiwi Ears are bangin this year, another great release
Great company. This set was a nice surprise. Cheap chifi headphones almost always suck super hard. Not this set
I'm reading some people say these are allegedly rebranded Behringer BH470....? Interesting if true, but they might be tuned differently, but it's tricky to find measurements for the BH470
I'll have genuine GRAS 45CA measurements for BH470 up next week.
I thought the same thing when I first saw what these ones looked like. Hopefully they have different tuning.
Intrigued! Love how you stand up to companies that tell reviewers what to say! Even when it's someone you worked with before
This is why I follow you, appreciate it.
Good callout of the mandate to include what the manufacturer wants in videos. Companies should believe in their products and trust the people they send it out for review.

I like it when cheaper products surprise people in a good way. It means more people will have access to good quality audio.
Ohhh another affordable buy for christmas, ty for review boss!
That's an interesting set, i am excited yayyy! Again after so long
Love the enthusiasm on this set..its infectious ... review, unbox? interested if it comes with a case
I will review and post the unbox soon
The black is now sold out on amazon, silver is available though. That was pretty fast
Nice to see a Headphone review for a change. I agree, Companies should trust in their product and let the reviewer decide what to say.
Thanks for being true to what you like and recommend, it’s nice that not everyone sells out and can still trust what they say!
Im suprised the manufactures have never watched your vids , brutal honesty is all you find here lol , cool as always
Thank you for sharing this with the community! This is a very exciting set!
I'm really hoping these sets are successful. I would love the chi-fi drive improvements in the headphone market by putting pressure on the lower end of the headset market to improve.
$50.00 headphones with THAT FR graph?! I'm in!
It is great with my library. hammers real nice
Thank ! Needed one :) Was nice to see the graph. :)
Ordered as a gift
You have to take my compliment. It’s mandatory. Another great video!
Yes! This is the closed back I've been waiting for! Thanks!
I'm using this headphone right now for work and loving them too.
Thanks HBB for video
We all appreciate your honesty & expertise
Thanks for the transparancy. GNX by far my favorite album atm, so full of good stuff 😊
Definitely interesting and good to see Kiwi branching out into headphones.
Aside from the issues that's a strong rec that has my interest.
Thanks HBB, take care and God Bless...
The headphone part of the hobby could really use some more of that IEM "magic" that has been cranking value packed sets the past couple of years.
For $50 I'm super tempted to buy to see how they would compare.
i think I'm gonna go for kiwi over the Ft1.Thanks for the review
wow another banger at the end of the year and a really good price for headphones
Awesome find and just in time for the holidays. Would be a nice set of cans to have around
Wow a $50 headphones and it's a basshead set too? Sign me up.
For a headphone with that price tag is definitely a must try
I had been waiting so long for chi-fi brands to graduate to full size headphones that I saved up and bought a Sennheiser. sweet!
i'm actually looking for reviews of these headphones
the silver one look dope

They're Behringer BH470
Haven’t bought a headphone in years after discovering iems but these look great for the price
Got the EDC pro and liked it, this looks like a good purchase too
Nice to see that headphones get some love too here!

Can’t wait to get this a great headphones on budget.🤩
Hope more are making headphone in this price ranges with quality similar to this, preferably openback lol.
Nice video. Blind buy for me. I’ve been looking for a bass focused closed back for a bit.
Woo what a great find great to see a headphone getting better in the scene😮😮
Didn't see that coming. Brighter horizons for Kiwi
Woohoo headphone review something different good job Chris much needed change thank you man and oh saw your Christmas lighting excellent also your little man so sweet he's growing up fast 😂
Happy Thursday!!! And damn cheap audio getting good.
It somehow felt quite refreshing to see a good review of a pair of headphones here and there with all the IEM content I've been watching lol. Not because I don't want to see them, don't get me wrong. I'm addicted to IEM content lol.
i dont know why but that start with the "that's sza" is funny to me HAHAHA
More bass than the Harmonicdyne Eris? Those are the bass monsters. As soon as this set hits my retailer of choice, I'm picking it up. 💯
Not to Bad! I‘ve got the 1More Sonoflow Pro a very good budget Option IMHO
This was unexpected. Now i really gotta try this. Could be a great gift for friends or family
It's impressive to witness how Chinese brands, such as Chifis, are expanding their influence and outcompeting other companies. 10:08
Chris does this slaps hard with lower tier sources like dongles and dac amp fiio k7? If so then its a must by rugged use set. Great vid looking for full review.
I don’t watch consistently but when I do always some 🔥 I like him! 🤣
This video is a masterclass. Boss.
I thought IEMs were tuned the way they are in order to compensate for frequency differences due to sitting directly in the ear canal instead of passing through the outer ear. Are there any issues with the sound on these due to that?

Nice graph! I wonder how are the accesories it comes with.
Curious!! How do they compare to the 1More Sonoflow Pro, now you got me really interested in testing them out for Djing!!
I was just looking for a headphone that sounds like an IEM, wow! Like Kiwi Ears heard my thoughts!
What ear pads do you suggest again?
The silver one looks really nice
Wow, the graph looks good. Wonder would it be better than the cheap JBLs
I'm not normally a headphone guy, but these are interesting, especially for the price
Excellent response, that is a bit crazy, mandatory requirements is a bit crzy!
It is always great to have such a relevation about products you enjoy. I saw this headphones and was in for it. From now on i am more in favour. Have you heard about a KiwiEars Ellipse? It is also a new on thier site.
wow $50? tempting..kiwi ears have good products trust your products bro
damn was looking to grab the fiio ft1 but this might be a better pick, definitely looking forward to the review.
Nice beater set when you are out and about. If its on Linsoul, I might pick up a pair 👍
Looks interesting.
Why do headphones' graphs look so strange?
Zeos collaborated on the Eris, not Zeus Elite (which is open back)
Ive had some headphone that are getting old. I'll definitely checking them out
Do this also sounded like iem? cu'z iem is plug inside ur ear canal while this is not?
Sweet headphone. Love to see em dabble down with headphone.
Seems like these $50 headphones may set a new standard of performance at this price bracket
50 bucks with good looking graph kinda tempting me
You don't lie, we trust you, we love you, you don't waste our time!
These sound really exciting, any chance you could tell me the inner measurement of the cups? I have elephant ears and cup size can be a deal breaker for me.
I don't own any headphones yet. I'd love to hear what the advantages over IEMs are if any
Is it time to buy a pair of headphones? It's so cheap it's tempting
Kinda sus about the mandatory requirements, guessing it's a guideline for some newbie reviewers? Idk
Thanks for sharing this!
it’s interesting to see iem brands’ take on over-ears
I love this, don't tell me what to do, have they not seen your videos
