  • Transmission Electron Microscopy is a very important characterization technique for research as well as for industry. The following feature of the very thin sample can be found
    1. Topographical (Structure, shape etc.)
    2. Morphological (particles, grain, crystallite etc.), HR- TEM
    3. Compositional (elemental mapping)
    4. Crystalline ( SAED, diffraction pattern, lattice plane etc.)

    Very good tutorial! keep updated.!
Is SAED supposed to be exactly in line with XRD result?

SAED should be in line with XRD. If the former shows you single or polycrystlline, the later will shows the same.

Hi, all your tem videos are polycrystalline, can you show example of single crystal?

You are right. In my research, all the materials were polycrystlline.
I have show the comparison in my another video. Please explore
Instead of rings, there will be dots
