If it wasn't for Link, I probably never would've got into the Soul Calibur series. Thank the maker for crossovers.

I'm shocked somebody actually did a TAS with Link. He is my main, and for a good reason. Ocarina of Time brought me to this, and it is so unique that thos had the REAL Link in an arcade style fighting game!
if only someone would convince Nintendo, Bandai Namco, & Todd McFarlane to make a Definitive Edition of Soul Calibur 2 with Heihachi, Spawn, & Link in the same Roster.

I never played this, but it's curious seeing Link doing so well in this strange world. Also, Yoshimitsu does look like an enemy Link would find in a dungeon, or even as a boss.
The Soul Calibur series fits Zelda like a glove!

This version of link (adult OOT) has always been my favorite incarnation and I think Soul Calibur is the reason behind that. If any future soul calibur game makes it to whatever console nintendo makes next, I think they should bring him back, or perhaps bring in Ganondorf or a fire emblem lord with him

Link out of the other 2 guest characters fits the most snug in SCII since he's not a karateka or essentially God in some incarnations. Huge fan of all of them though.

These graphics are amazing.
Spawn and Heihachi were cool exclusive characters on their own but Link just made the most sense and in my opinion is still the best guest character in the series!

My friend argues that "its implied that he speaks" based on the dialogue of the characters you talk to I guess
2:58 "Kurae!" is a Japanese word that, in the context of a fight, means "take/eat this!". So yes, he can speak. He's a man of very few words, but he can, indeed, speak.

I love how similar his moveset is to his Smash Bros. one.
Why does Link's bomb throwing animation look so weird in this game? Like he suddenly decided to go for the world's most casual one-handed free throw lol.
At the game's release, Namco said the Link was one of the hardest characters to make, because Nintendo had to approve EVERYTHING about the character. Animation has to be remade, because "it was too aggressive" for a Nintendo character, maybe that's the reason for some of his animation to look so goofy
@@projectikaruga I'm not surprised. Nintendo always take their stuff very seriously even in a game that accepts violent stuff. At least he still does attacks more brutal than in Smash.

Como é possível um game de luta do Playstation como esse ter personagem da Nintendo? Isso não faz sentido...
Esse jogo é do nintendo gamecube,veja o layout dos botoes no menu do jogo...mas seria bom ter o heihashi,spawn e o link em todas as versões do jogo,ficaria demais
O jogo é de arcade e teve ports para os consoles da época, cada port tendo um char exclusivo. O char do Gc foi o Link.

Pra mim,o Link combina melhor como personagem de NIntendo 64 ou Nintendo Game Cube ou Nintendo Wii. Já joguei com o Link antes no Super Nintendo em Zelda e achei mediano. Link é um elfo guerreiro valente. Pra mim é o terceiro melhor aventureiro da Nintendo perdendo apenas pro Donkey Kong e principalmente Mario. Estou surpreso por ver o Link aí no Sul Calibur e eu nem fazia ideia. Gostei da história do Link aí nesse jogo.
tinha a revista falando desse jogo mas estragou na enchente aqui e casa,tem o link no gamecube,heihachi no ps2 e spawn no primeiro xbox...e esse foi o primeiro jogo de luta com convidados de outro universo o que mortal kombat só foi fazer naquele jogo ruim mortal kombat vs dc e fez de novo e bem no mk9
