Gotta love patches that open up new possibilities for characters. It gives players more freedom of expression and the opportunity to develope a more distinctive and unique playstyle! I always liked that you could combo out of DAir to SHK into UAir/NAir or Set Up for other stuff. SHK is really special and it's shield breaking set ups are the reason I main Ryu over other characters. I love that they buffed his SHK as well as his HDK.

After the buffs I saw some people in my country's smash discord server say that Ryu is now +1 against Pikachu thanks to the hado buffs, which is insane considering how good pikachu is in ultimate.
I feel the Tatsu changes are underrated. Less endlag is always nice but it makes Jab 1-2 Tatsu safe on hit at lower percents, when Hado/Shaku is technically untrue and Shoryu/Focus would be too committal
It essentially means no more getting punished at low percent for doing tatsu combos. Now you can hard up tilt immediately after to stuff all mashing with your invincibility from the waist up.
I'd argue yes, though I think it's 4 frames. Low-percent Tatsu confirms are now much safer on hit, so for instance Jab 1-2 Tatsu is safer at 0% than Jab 1-2 Hado/Shaku (untrue until 50%) or Jab 1-2 Shoryu (true but too committal at 0)
Why is that Ryu and Ken throughout ultimate have kept randomly getting critical life changing buffs ? I mean these changes they’ve gotten through the patches are so deliberate and meaningful they completely reinvent these characters every time .
They used to be so terrible at the start of ultimate then slowly but surely have gotten so much better that even people who don’t know anything about them/play these characters fear them every time they come across one and for good reason. They are scary
Ok so granted I'm not the best at this game, but I do main kazuya and i play sephiroth. Any character that has multiple safe TRUE shield breaker combos almost immediately moves up at least a couple spots on the tier list. I dont really know how good this is though cause I dont play Ryu.
Ryu can not compare to the usage and success of Ken, do not be ridiculous. This is a necessary buff that might not make him better, but better serves his zoner archetype to COMPLIMENT Ken
Sadly no, but I’d argue it makes a lot more sense on Ryu because he focuses a lot more on zoning compared to ken. Same way how Kens shoryuken has more utility via being a legitimate anti-air kill move and having less endlag on his dragon punch. This just means they both succeed in different areas depending on the matchup. After these Ryu buffs I feel confident in saying Ryu is finally just as good as ken now which is awesome.

Tatsu has less ending lag now too right?

You gotta do rising up air and hold back a little after the 2nd hit to create a tiny distance so the shaku hits
