Parker savour of sweaters. Yay! She knows what’s what. It’s great to see her being a clever helper dog. Thank you. May you please take care and stay safe. Louisa. 👏👏👏❤️❤️❤️🤩🤩🤩

That's hilarious! Totally reminds me of Russel and his obsession with laundry.
When the video started, I just assumed "water sweater" was going to turn out to mean "raincoat." Shows you what I know! 😂

WTF that's amazing! If I ever get a dog I will make an effort to get something like this set up. This is too incredible, what a good dog

Cats can learn too, but I always see them with less buttons then dogs, and when there's multiple cats often only one is interested in learning

I can’t believe some people still say that these animals are pressing buttons randomly for attention. Who needs a PA when you have Parker!!!

      Yeah.
I can see their arguments at the beginning because animals usually learn words for toys and treats and things first. But that's because that's how you communicate to the animal that the buttons have meaning at all.
Once the animal understands buttons can have meaning, you open it up to all different kinds of meanings, and they start really communicating a variety of things.

I keep watching this. Even for Parker, this is next-level abstraction! Can’t wait for the studies that include examples like this one to be published. Still kinda hoping that humans will manage to put such knowledge to good use in the brief window of opportunity we have left to change course before we fully wreck the entire global biosphere to the point of no return.

Wow. She was extremely accurate, actually. I'm surprised you didn't understand the first time with the context.

We may think that our pets aren't paying attention to things happening around them, but this proves they are really paying attention. 🐶
