I live 2 hours away from Silverwood so i always find it funny when people talk about silverwood and the greenery of it because its very normal for this area.
I work at silverwood and they actually just changed most of the track on timber terror that is why it was so smooth it didn't used to be it used to be a serious jackhammer but was always fun
Aftershock is the Deja vu coaster from Six Flags great America. Great video I love Silverwood, first time I went I rode the Corkscrew 9 times in a row. The very front and back cars are gnarly
i've been going to silverwood every year since i was about 4...(first time i almost chocked to death on a jaw breaker there, and had my first taste of whiskey that my dad had mixed with pepsi and i mistakenly drank, and then spit out XD) spin cycle and aftershock are amazing... thunder cannon and the water park are awesome too P.S.: this makes me wanna play roller coaster tycoon(and also go to silverwood, cause I'm only an hour and a half away) PPS: corkscrew was the first roller coaster i ever road
Corkscrew was my first Rollercoaster I ever rode when I was 5 years old in 1981. It was at Knott's Berry Farm at the time if course, but last time I was there I rode Corkscrew 75 times in one day. I go back to Silverwood every year in July for a week just to see an old Friend, & between the Wooden Coasters Timber Terror is my favorite.👍 Hello from Phoenix Arizona❕🔥
You'll probably have a good laugh at this, but I think we were at the park the same day you were! Also? Tremors is a hell of a ride to have a panic attack on...which I did, which is amusing because I've ridden Tremors repeatedly.
Live an hour away from Silverwood! We go every year! :) I love this theme park!!! The schools around here do read-to-ride tickets for kids k-6th grade to get in the park for free!!! :)
I had the same experience with the Deja Vu at Six Flags Over Georgia. I only got to visit the park once in 2006 and it was closed for the day. By the time I made it back to the park, it was permanently closed. Hopefully I'm able to make it to Silverwood someday.
@@ParksBros sorry I was referring to your comment around the 4 minute mark. I wrote the post before I watched your the entire video. Did you go on Spin Cycle? If so...what did you think? Cheers
I am 6ft 4 and the deja vu limit at SFMM was 75" (6.25 ft), for reasons I still can't understand as the other ones have a 200cm height limit (6.55 ft). Any way, taking my shoes off and bending a bit LOL and he let me on, I got a back seat ride when it was brand new. It was smooth as anything and thrilling, they are good fun. Silverwood on my bucket list for my 2022 trip so I've been really planning how to include it in a road tour. It's gonna happen. When I fly in from Melbourne they fly into LA or San Fran, haven't decided yet, then again, the routes are only opening again next month. Can't wait though for next may :)
Corkscrew is always my first go-to ride but oh man i went this past week in the last weekend of silverwood before scarywood and I swear it gave me a concusion lol
I just went yesterday and Thunder canyon is one of my favorites because dad got soaked😂😂. My Favorite is for sure Spin Cycle its a top tier ride that gets your adrenaline going through you.
My Son & I visited Silverwood for the first time this last weekend (May 6-7 2023). Aftershock was closed both days unfortunately but we were blown away by the quality of our overall experience @ the park. We rode Corkscrew for it's historical significance, kinda rough but glad we did it! I noticed in your Corkscrew ride footage there is a gyroscopic effect. Do you use a gyroscopic camera mount or is that a post effect? Great video BTW!
I really want to come here one year. I would like to also know if there's anything else to do in the Cour De Laine area? Are there any other attractions or activities nearby to make the visit more worth while?
Yeah I come to silverwood almost every year from northwest Montana, there is a great water park fun center place in cour de lane called Triple Play, and there is also a lake nearby
Yea silverwood is here and so is triple play, cda/Spokane has a lot of malls if you’re into that, theres a lot of hiking, and in Halloween season theres Scarywood.
You pronounced Spokane correctly.
+1!

And now it screams and sounds terrifying near the panic drop🤪
@AOAvina I'm glad to hear that's normal, I noticed it after we rode. 😅😂
such a good park. i loved it! we live kinda close to idaho so it isn’t a “we will never go back” park
Aftershock FKA Deju Vu really is intimidating! One of the scariest coasters I’ve ever ridden!

Hello from Phoenix Arizona❕🔥
Cool! I rode it back in the 1980’s at Knott’s. I remember thinking how awesome it was then. It’s still a great ride.
Just went to Silverwood on a school band trip. We had so much fun, one of my favorite parks.
So jelly. I did a Utah, Montana, Wyoming, and Idaho road trip 10 years ago and passed on Silverwood. Today it would be a must detour
I am so glad you finally made it! Tremors is amazing! Thank you for visiting! Tremors at night is truly something else.
I can't wait to go back to experience that!
What a beautiful park!
Totally has that Knott's vibe
Another fantastic video

Silverwood is a lot of fun! So is the attached boulder beach
What a park....s'Bro! I'll be back fo sho!
There are a few pendulum rides that go all the way upside down located across the great country we live in...
As I mentioned, like Chaos at Waldameer does, but there's no model as big as Spin Cycle in the U.S.
@@ParksBros sorry I was referring to your comment around the 4 minute mark. I wrote the post before I watched your the entire video. Did you go on Spin Cycle? If so...what did you think? Cheers
No need to apologize! And sadly, we didn’t get to ride. There just wasn’t enough time in the day :/
Love your vids and edits 🙌🙌
Tremors is so loud now lol
seems cool

Go check out Wild Waves Theme & Water Park in Federal Way, WA. About 30-minutes South of Seattle on Interstate 5
Rode stunt pilot for the first time from the last seat, it whips you A LOT on drops but it’s awesome

I have the luxury of living near Silverwood so we usually go at least once every summer. (Except for the past few years, thanks of covid.)
What kind of camera are you using?
360 camera?
RMC is just up the highway from the park.
BROOO I GO THERE, IM 2 HOURS AWAG FROM THERE HSJSJSJ
Timber Terror and Tremors look like the same ride.
