6:16 To determine direction of travel, look at the turns before the straight segment on the right of this image in comparison to the wider turns on the other end, which curve over the station. The tighter turns on the right tell me that the train is travelling slower in that area, and faster towards the larger turns in the left immediately after the straight-away. This segment shows the train is going traveling from the right end of the image to left. From the station in the center of the image, the ride will start going to the right into its first launch and continue around to the top of the image. The 2nd launch will be towards the station and over it. The drawn out turns to the left will be taken at higher speeds and indicate the fastest section of the layout. The long straight-away to the left of the station building will be the breaks and transfer tables, and the first launch will be directly after the station, on the right.
I'm excited for a new type of ride coming to the park, this isn't anything I had considered but I'm glad to see MM getting a Vekoma. But more than a new coaster, that park needs a major operations overhaul. The dispatches are truly atrocious on a lot of rides, lines could move quickly on rides like West Coast Racers and Full Throttle, but those are some of the slowest lines in the park. WCR always seems to have a listed 90+ minute wait even with the line not filling up the station building. Tatsu never uses both sides of the station anymore, so the line just backs up. The staffing levels and training of staff are just poor. Food and beverage are atrocious and the prices they charge are beyond insane. I would gladly give up a new coaster for a better overall experience at the park. Also the queue line spaces are some of the least pleasant places to be in any park. Most of them are just switchbacks inside a cheap metal box. A lot of things that break just never get fixed, take a visit into the kids play area, or ride Justice League. My visit yesterday has really set me on a path of hating that park, I've only seen it go downhill in the last 20 years.
@@notcool1079 There were some coasters with consistent 5+ minute dispatches this past Sunday. There were people in the park but it wasn't so crowded that Ninja should have had a 60 minute wait. Also I counted 24 total empty seats on 3 consecutive trains on Twisted Colossus including one WITH TEN EMPTY SEATS, and I saw several trains on Wonder Woman with empty seats....that is unacceptable. Empty seats on trains, especially THAT many, mean people in line are waiting longer than they need to. If trains are going out only 1/2 to 3/4 loaded, that means the wait is 25-50% longer for no reason. But beyond the actual dispatching of trains, the park just isn't a nice place to be. Maybe a 30 minute line wouldn't feel like torture if there was better scenery, lighting, ventilation, etc. There is also absolutely nowhere comfortable to take a break in the park. Suck it up so the park can start attracting families and make some money so corporate will finally give the park a giga that otherwise never would have happened under the old Six Flags.
@eliasmertens9313 CA will never get a giga because of earthquake BS regulations and all the other ultra left wing restrictions since superman was built. @@plighting_engineerd Couldn't agree more! I mean look at Cedar Point
It's just new trains on their flying coaster. They've made motorcycle coasters before so it literally modifying the train they sit on to be inverted.
Best performing because it’s open year round
X2 was a prototype and that’s amazing
Are they going to leave the amphitheater? I sure hope they get rid of it, otherwise it'll be an eyesore
It seems like the plan is to cover most of it in dirt, but I'm not sure how all of that is going to look.
@@ParksBros One of the rumors that was circulating earlier on was that they were going to turn the seating into some kind of water feature which would be pretty awesome if that happens.
Can you say F.L.Y?? Like Phantasialand.
Omgggggggg
The Flash is the first Varma back in America at Six Flags Great Adventure not Magic Mountain Magic Mountain will get the second
these comments are a wonderful example of how thoosies act when something isn't made for them specifically. You're all acting more childish than the toddlers who won't even be tall enough to ride this.
If its a family coaster its a failure in my book. MM is supposed to be a thrill park, families can go to Knotts or disney.
I think they also want a few of those people at Magic Mountain. More money for the park!
So it’s a family coaster…🙄
A family coaster. Magic Mountain is smart.
I agree.
Couldn't disagree more. Have you seen how small and young the kids are that are riding the most intense rides? Clearly not. Family coasters are not for the kids. They're for weak, wussy, scared parents who can't ride X2 or Tatsu..., not for kids. If you want family rides, then go to Disneyland.
@@ChristopherFiore-s4r remember families make up most of the Revenue for a park. Not enthusiasts. Therefore the more family rides. The more money to invest in a giga or another coaster. Also not everyone can afford tickets to Disney
It does sound like a family coaster, but that sign... "Epic Thrills are cycling in"
@@CZsWorldI love seeing a big Chanel supporting a smaller Chanel
Its ginna be lame
what a disappointment! no giga? OMG zzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzz
woahhhhhh it's almost like california is known for having earthquakes and high land costs.
Couldn’t have gone to a park that actually needs it…
Alright buddy, lines at X2 can get well over 3 hours. Learn about supply and demand. This park obviously generates more revenue and even has more potential… 😂
Besides at least half of magic mountain is garbage filler.
All of the hype for a disappointing 2026 coaster. mm should have gone with a giga coaster. mm could have used their mountainous terrain for the giga. Instead after years of waiting , we get yet again another mediocre attraction. Well at least im looking forward to fast and furious hollywood drift in 2026
Cry 😢
Such a waste of a potential opportunity 🙁
Boring.
Boring coaster. This CEO man is Terrible. I swear he’s sour and plans to take down 6flags.
Another freaking family coaster.!!!!!! I'm so over this crap .... You want family go to Disney or Universal
Another? SFMM is literally the Xtreme park. There’s like 5 family coasters out of what 20?
@@singthelongswansongi was expecting a family thrill, something like F.L.Y. But with a twist
The last time they added a family coaster was in 2014 with the addition of the park’s Zamperla Gravity Coaster STD. 🎉🥳 So you should stop crying over nothing, babygirl. 🤗😚
💯 agree. People are too stupid to realize that family rides are not for kids, but for weak, wussy, scared parents that won't go on big boy rides, but their young kids who barely make the height requirement sure will. If this is not an extreme ride, I'm not renewing my 2026 pass.
Thoosies when the park with the 2nd best thrill ride collection on the planet builds their first family coaster (that isn't an off-the-shelf kiddy ride) since 1988:
Something few people say “ it’s going to be insane to watch grading happen” 🎢🎢
