As I have said here before being completely blind, I always go to you guys to know what I missed visually and of course, the last six minutes of this show did nothing for me! So thank you as always for not only the great coverage and analysis and News every week, But truly, for being some thing that I’ve only ever described Jim Ross and Jerry Lawler, as before, the people that allow me to understand this industry when otherwise I could not. It really does mean a lot.

If they don't become a supernatural act, I think they could have some longevity
Chad being killed would've worked better if he hadnt said in an interview that he'd re-signed. People wouldve thought he'd gotten Ricochet'd
Chad is going to be on the show next week, maybe even wrestling. He wasn't shot/killed. In fact he faked his involvement in the entire thing to gain sympathy from Otis
They managed to get the notoriously terrible Corpus Christi crowd into it, which was impressive.
Wei is spot on talking about the matches being important. I think WWE can nail the presentation, but you've got a couple of subpar workers, a couple of good but unspectacular guys, and Nikki. The matches, unless they're plotted out VERY carefully, could be very bad.
In a way, this reminds me of the dilemma of Kross in NXT. Amazing presentation, looked great in squashes... but once you got beyond those 3 minute matches, there wasn't much to his ring work to hook you in. If WWE can't get us invested in the W6 matches, this faction is sunk.
But, it's early. Let's see where this goes.
One reason why the supenatural bray wyatt character didn't work is because he lost too often. Imagine taker losing every single big feud he was in.
I know there trying to honour bray by doing this and apparently this was the direction the Wyatt story was going to go before he passed away and it looked cool visually on TV but it's wrestling and the bell has got to ring and I don't know how that's going to look because alot of this will be smoke and mirrors and some people like that but the execution of the matches Wyatt had in the WWE were not great especially the fiend era of his character. I'm willing to give it a chance but I'm not being a prisoner of the moment and saying it's gonna be the greatest thing since sliced bread.

As usual with these types of gimmicks it was a fun debut. But no way it works long term. Eventually they have to actually wrestle in the ring and thats when it will fall apart
I don't watch WWE aside from the very rare PPV. My only suggestion would be to incorporate a lot of humour and chemistry with the family members. Make them loveable freaks like Rob Zombie's Devil's Rejects. Make them kinda goof balls. DO NOT present them seriously or 'scary' - there's nothing 'scary' about pro wrestling. Pro wrestling is inherently goofy.
I could see this group doing something with Karrion Kross and his stable.
Nahh if you want a group succeed you keep them away from that jobber act
Personally its not for me. I'm not a spooky part of wrestling fan. I wish them good luck its just a no for me.
I'd argue it could work if the leader was a top guy like a Punk or Seth but because it's probably going to be Bo (Bray's brother) I think by the end of the summer this story will be dead ... you can't build a long storyline with a bunch of midcarders lead by another mid carder.
Yeah it is Nikki by far. Bo would probably be second.
Nikki is by far the best, but I don’t see them pushing her as the main character (although she looks awesome). Especially if Alexa Bliss comes back.
I tried to reply in the actual thread where we were talking, but it didn’t work way. Sorry about that. I would love to come on the show sometime if there ever would be a time and place for that because I do feel like I have a very unique perspective, never having seen anything that has ever gone on in the business visually. if not, I would love to at least exchange emails back-and-forth or something. I’m very active in Mike McGuire‘s Facebook group if you or John ever wanted to join that. Everybody there has so much respect for you both. Like Jim Ross, you guys have been a huge part of my Fan journey for over 20 years and it would be an honor to actually talk to you and, tell you that story.

I'm with Pollock on this one, to me Nikki Cross is the best wrestler of the bunch. Rowan to me was never great in the ring, I've only seen a bit of Joe Gacy, Dexter Lumis is eh and Bo Dallas to me is an average wrestler. I'm willing to give it a try, if it flops it flops. If it works, then cool something exciting in wrestling today.

Anything with Rowan just stinks. I really don't understand his appeal and everything he's in is just meh
I thought this segment was super cool but I guess I'm just an optimistic person.
Cool segment. Tired of spooky/goth characters. The hype will be gone as soon as there is a wrestling match, which is a bad thing for a wrestling show.
No one has ever really succeeded with Spooky stuff, Edge tried, Bray Wyatt tried, Taker never made it work. The fact is that wrestling can't be a horror movie because horror movies aren't realistic. I would love to be wrong this time around, but I think this is a 6 month thing before all of the Wyatt 6 would be fired from the company cause it didn't work
Why is Pollack always so negative on WWE? Def Like listening to the shows to catch up but the dude groans and moans so much.

Why I'm not excited about this is because let's be honest ... these are mid carders. If a Punk or Seth would be the leader ok but the leader more then likely will be Bo (Bray's brother) and he's also a mid carder as well. I fully expect this is to be a mid card group that will have a short staying power and my bet is this storyline is done by the end of summer.
Way I see it you gotta present it like it's a big deal of the bat and try and keep it going because if they are just slotted in the Mid card then it's just gonna be mid card. Next week they need to come out and have people in the ring addressing it and revolving the show around it.. but they won't they'll probably do a recap and maybe a Vignette and then it will be back to 'heres a MITB qualifier' and then you wonder why these groups don't get over.
