I did this the other way… NYC to Long Island Sound, then up to Martha’s Vineyard…. single-handed on my C&C42 a number of years ago. Fun times watching this.
@Harley Harmon we would have liked to check the Hudson off our list, but timing wouldn’t allow. Maybe we come back around to go through there to the Great Lakes after the lap of the globe :-)

Glad you enjoyed it! It was a lot of traffic, but never a time when we thought it was a problem. It is a good ride for anyone considering the trip.
