    Thanks for the info in discord on the erf. Didn’t think about the sensors being triggered as switches instead of runout sensors.

    Nice I have an MK3S from work and an MMU2 that never got built. I'm gonna get the MMU3 upgrade and build it to get some experience with multi material setup.
    Then might build an ERCF

      I would be interested to see that. I know they are similar.

    Thanks for the video, what software are you using in the video to do the slicing?

    • @tcape72
      @tcape72 2 месяца назад

      I figured out from another video where the slicer software looked similar it was Bambu Studio.

    • @projectsindadsgarage
      @projectsindadsgarage  2 месяца назад +1

      No I am using orca slicer not Bambu studio

      @@projectsindadsgarage So just to be clear, the software you are using in this video is Orca slicer?, Bambu Studio and Orca Slicer look nearly the same.

    Where can I find the build for that depressor mount for the Filametrix trigger? 🤔

    • @projectsindadsgarage
      @projectsindadsgarage  Месяц назад +1

      I believe it was from a printable page for ercf on a enderwire.
      Edit found it. www.printables.com/model/688807-depressor-mount-enderwire-switchwire

    Nice.
    Can I used this filament change on other kind of printer, like a elegoo Neptune 4 or just work on voron ??

    Thank you very much for the effort of making these videos, there is still not much info about this version of the ERCF around... I am thinking about building one for my Trident, but I need to plan the location first.. Do you know how high it is from the surface it sits on to the top of the cotton tail parts? The overall dimensions seem to be missing from everywhere in the internet....

      205mm but you will need to mount it to 2020 extrusions so add on for that

      Thank you very much, I am trying to figure out a way to have it installed under my printer, or at least the spools of filament and the ERCT, with the ERCF in the back for a shorter filament path.I want to leave the top of the Trident free to remove it when printing PLA and for easy maintenance… I guess this requires a lot of planing and thinking. The idea is to have one enclosed space under the printer with controlled temperature and humidity, where I can leave 8 spools of filament ready, and select the one I need to use from the slicer.

    Did you use the BOM or did you get most the parts from a kit?

    • @projectsindadsgarage
      @projectsindadsgarage  6 месяцев назад +1

      I had a v1.1 kit and then had to get all the extra stuff needed for the V2 separate. There was no kit available for the V2 yet when I started building it. I started at Christmas getting everything when the V2 was released. Some of the beta testers were kind enough to help me out with what I needed.

    Algorithm brought me here. Sorry but the Video / Sound quality of your video is horrible. Even if filmed by a proper Smarphone, it would be 10x better. No interest in watching a video, i bearly understand anything. Sorry :( thanks for the try anyway ...

      A simple “thumbs down” would have sufficed, you bloviating ass. Not everyone is here to make a career out of making RUclips videos, some people are just amateurs here to help advance the state of this hobby.
