She also turns "sh" sounds into "j" sounds and "r" sounds into "d" sounds, which is how we got "JDon". She must also be part cat cause she turns all "na" sounds into "nya". She is too cute, I could listen to her all day.
Your observations are accurate. I find it difficult to understand her Japanese because of her dialectal accent.(s=t,th n=nya etc..) The accent can be eliminated by being aware of it in singing and fast speech. Therefore, the first time you see her, you will feel a gap.

She has a slightly similar accent to that guy from hajime no ippo, the old dude who is a friend of ippo's coach, the one with the big ass dog that always ended his word with some sort of "nyaa"
Hajime can let her aura when she was became famous for something, this something who attract new people (like suiseicophath): in this perspective, you can see marine's aura, her gorgeous-pervert-beautiful aura😏. So for me, hajime's aura is what she said, "wait, i know it's hard to understand her, but what the f*ck did she say?😵💫".
Oh man its such a cute animation! But there is one mistake in the translation. I think Hajime says "Ureshi"(Happy) in her babu language, which turns into "u-je-chi-ya". And That is what sounds like "Ojichan"(Grandpa). I can't blame you though, it is very difficult to understand her XD
I know, but in order to make the mishearing make sense, I had to switch up which word turned into what. If I had directly translated it, I would need to explain the jump in a separate note or cram the original Japanese in the subtitles. Good on you for noticing, but this is an intentional choice and what makes problem solving in translation so interesting to me
Is it not maybe time for a new font?.. the space in the " and ' looks kinda bad Font is also cutoff sometimes when its placed low to the video, and sometimes the bottom of the letters are cut off when placed high in the video.

She definitely sounds like she does. Notice the response time is different compared to someone like say, Luna. She has varying natural tones in her words compared to Luna whom you can hear the edges of her range.
